More news...

This must be a new record.

On his very first day in office, Joe Biden destroyed 11,000 American jobs and $1.6 BILLION in wages when he halted construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Despite the fact that the project would have ZERO carbon emissions, with one stroke of a pen, Biden TOOK AWAY thousands of jobs and INCREASED energy costs.

LOL, there are two sides to every story, but you just hijacked the thread?

One of my old colleagues, who is a senior VP over several factories employing about 15,000 people just added #6.

Weird, he is a Democrat and said “let’s blame it on Bernie.”

All I did was report a direct action by the con man in the White House... that isn't news worthy? Killing 11,00 jobs with one signature isn't a concern for anybody working in the oil industry? Yeah... hijacking? really? Ok... I will ignore the resident in the White House... what he does has no impact on America... right?

There... that is the other side of reality... nothing to see here... Orange Man Bad... the new guy? best thing that ever happened to America... right?

My friend, I wish I could help you, as you have lost the ability of human reason based on factual common sense. We are all born into this world as individuals with different backgrounds and have different perspectives.
Intellectual debates seek to review a variety of opinions when dealing with controversial matters. However when these debates venture into a bias as strong as yours, the ability of human reason is no longer rational, can no longer rely on the substantiation of facts and common sense becomes trivial.
An intellectual debate relies on maturity, the ability to control emotions, the ability to listen and consider other viewpoints and most important of all to reason based on facts which can be substantiated by the truth.
Throughout this forum, you have failed to conform to most if not all of those values and your continuance will only earn further disrespect from those who are able to debate intellectually.

I have to give you credit for the way you put those well spoken words together.

Now hear this... the XL Pipeline was in process... 11,000 jobs just hit the bricks... now... who is going to pick up the pieces? Are we just going to let millions of dollars worth of infrastructure lay out there and rust out? What about the 11,000 workers and all the other people that work to supply that operation? This act is a stab in the back to those workers and this country that is still an oil driven economy in an oil driven world. Add to that no more fracking on federal land... being a former oil field person that has followed the political and economic aspects of it for decades... it appears to me all of this is designed to do one thing and that is weaken America just like Obama was doing. What will be all the fallout from JBs signature on the pipeline?

2nd. !4,000+ illegal alien criminals are being ordered by JB to be freed back to wherever they want to go... at least 71% of them are violent criminals. Some have not been to court yet to determine if they have committed any crimes besides illegally entering the border. . Would you like a few dozen released into the area where you live?

This is the 1st 3 days in office.

Tell me.... how is this good for America? and... how safe does having over 10,000 violent criminals from other parts of the world that have no respect for this country seem to you?

And you tell me I am out of whack... well, excuse me... I think this is the greatest country on earth and I don't want some feeble old puppet that can't even arrange for his front door to be unlocked when he moves into the White House.

I haven't lost the ability to call a spade a spade... the country in now under deconstruction orders from whomever is paying for it. Free speech is being suppressed... gatherings are discouraged for reasons not explained except to say... don't gather because you might get sick with a 99.7% rate of survival is you get the Chinese import disease.

Its a total fraud... its a total clown show... and you defend this... you think its ok... well, I don't and I can say it anyway I want to... I have lived here all my life and so have my parents. I think that makes me a US citizen with no strings attached... I don't appreciate people that would subvert our country for political gain.... in fact, I despise them because they harbor ill will against this country. Their actions show it!

You tell me I have lost the ability to reason? Sorry... I ain't buying that load.

Like jellyrug said, two sides to the story. 11,000 jobs lost on the pipeline; does that mean the need for energy will go away? Of course not. Most of us got up this morning and immediately created a need. The need for jobs in the energy field is not disappearing. Hopefully with jobs in a cleaner energy field. Obviously not a switch off type deal, but a slow transfer. The argument against the pipeline includes air pollution, danger to one of the largest fresh water reserves in the world, harming wildlife, eminent domain issues, Indigenous lands....I'm sure you personally give a crap about most of that, but it's a pretty healthy half of a debate and that's only part of it. Also, the slow process of easing our dependence on crude oil needs to keep advancing.

Correction... its about 70,000 jobs that are being impacted by the shutting down of the XL pipeline. I don't think you have a clue how all of this works. Keep in mind Warren Buffet is a big campaign contributor to the Biden campaign... why does he do it? He has 100s or oil tanker rail cars... his oil cars will be hauling oil now... which mode of transportation makes the smallest impact on the environment? You probably don't know... oil pipelines have a much better safety record as compared to rail cars and trucks... and much better for the enviroment.

We have a long way to go with alternative energy... it has no where near the practicality that oil has. We have also lost our San Onofre nuclear power plant out here in Socal... and it happened because of a leak in the cooling system that could have been repaired... nuclear energy surpasses any other source for abundant consistent and reliable energy to power our homes and industry. If you were to study how it works in France you would see for yourself.

The bottom line is the mayhem you are seeing now is a product of the socialist, marxist, leftist ideology that will subvert our country until it no longer is the great country it can be. We are always dealing with stupid corrupt people that will sell us out in all the same ways that has been going on forever. It is one form of political graft after another and its happening right under our noses.

This country must be managed by intelligent people that care about how we became the "Go To" country for other people from around the world. To top it off we now have CCP that has expertly invaded our country on many levels and has now gained access to our power grid. What could go wrong?
