What's sort of sad about this project is that a guy in his garage, albeit an extremely gifted guy, is generating more excitement about the Hayabusa than Suzuki.
Man when I see what some people are capable of, I feel like a total weakass mechanic.
Just total respect is all I can say.
IT RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lets not get tooo pumped up just yet.... it isn't fired up and running yet.... I'm interested to see if any issues pop up.... but I'm almost there... almost amazed
I'm pretty confident that he will solve that. Although to us mere mortals it would be a major issue.first hes gotta fix the head gasket issue... and hope THATS the issue
I wont disagree... its amazing stuff.... old school hot rodding with new age machinery,I'm pretty confident that he will solve that. Although to us mere mortals it would be a major issue.
He will probably solve it on a lunch hour.
this build is sooo cool.... doesn't need a damn radiatorHe said he'll have to make a custom gasket. Wonder what he was using? Did he just cut up two gaskets to get the 5th cylinder? Anyway sounds like a minor setback. The gasket is such a small issue given how radical this build is. Is that a Hayabusa radiator? Was wondering if it had the capacity to cool the extra displacement.
We've been turning blue waiting to hear it!!!!This is the gasket. Yes my plane last year was to make one in copper. But I will still try to use this gasket again, I will seal it with a head gasket spray from Loctite. I will try to put a video out later this week, I would like to know what your guys think of the sound
