Qft..

I was using some extreme examples because it's the extremes that it seems do have gotten to these days.
So, wait, are you saying that the school should ban the prayer tradition that's gone on ever since UT had a Football game, because it made someone UNCOMFORTABLE? The real problem is that everyone has become so self-important that they feel THEY are entitled to something special. If you don't want to pray, fine, just be respectful and don't laugh/talk and play your boombox during it - yet, the Athiests (who don't BELIEVE in a God) are offended by something they DON'T EVEN BELIEVE IN in and therefore nobody else should be able to do it? That's the kind of crazy stoopid stuff I'm talking about. Gays can do whatever they want to each other behind their bedroom doors, just stop trying to force me to ACCEPT in public, and stop trying to injure the scantity of marriage, but they won't...
Frankly, it's the extremists on both sides that prevent more moderates from reaching some things we COULD compromise on.
See there you go again..not listening I did not say ban UT prayer. I was just quoting you so you know what i am responding to. The same argument can be made for your statement that and I quote"defecating on the bible and calling it art" Your saying they should not do that because it offends you? If you think someone is trying to "injure the santity of marriage" your wrong. Again your definition of marriage is religiously based so you can't use that argument. religion does not have the corner market on marriage. Marriage comes in many forms. It is a ceremony not necessarily have to be religiously based ceremony to be valid.I was using some extreme examples because it's the extremes that it seems do have gotten to these days.

I don't think i did.
It's after lunch, i need my nap
Excellent! I think we should all take a nap, meet at Barber's for some track time, have a few beers and figure this mess out!
Beer just makes it all better doesn't it?
OMFG do we really have another 43 days of this crap
A wise man once said, never discuss politics and money with anyone you aren't likely to swap DNA with.....more than once or twice. Pretty smart advice because, while I'm pretty sure folks could guess where some folks stand on a lot of issues, now its galvanized where some folks stand, which is fine by me, everyone has two things an opinion and an .... and honestly I'm not sure which we are seeing more of in places.
Cant we just get back to talking about bikes and normal .0rg stuff? lease:lease:
lol Two things: 1) Just like most things, we don't have to continue reading this thread and 2) 43 days? Ummm...hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this stuff is 24/7/365! I've never seen an election end politicial discussions/differences/arguments/etc.
Oh, and #3: Hayabusa's ROCK!
So make you a deal. You keep your religion and your public displays of affection in private and so will everyone else. That's fair an equal right? Why should others be forced to accept your views.
Lol sanctity of marriage.
Atheists aren't offended by god btw. Just the people trying to force god on them. There's a difference.
