That distance isn't enough to learn how to go Warp 9 and stop quickly. If you want to feel the sensation of that speed, keep looking for a longer runway. Get used to that speed and holding it for some time, then practice how it stops.

Ramping it up and back down quickly will get boring real fast.

That's what I want to do. I've relocated twice in the last 5 years, and finding roads that are safe is kind of a project.
Any interstate will do, but it's like asking to lose your license.
