Nice write up when my jackshaft goes iam gona go with the O.S.D. kit if you dont mind how much did that set up cost you. and do you feel the difference with the left peg set being out more then the right side and i heard the chain will stretch faster then a jackshaft but once again great write up and looks great
They need to make a chain guard for those things! I have one question, with the front sprocket moved further out, won't that put more stress on the out-put shaft , the bearings, and possibly the case?
The new sprocket cover has a bearing in it that supports the shaft, I believe.
Hey Big rod. Like always u help me and i help u. dont get me wrong. U know i love the way ur bike looks and i like the convertion. but i just want to add something that i bet no one told u about. My friend did the same conversion. Now he hates it. He went for a trip to the speedway. He loved the torque but the next day hes clutch was screaming for help. He put a new one, and went for a ride around P.R.. He got stuck in a small traffic and the clutch was giving up already. Let me know whats ur experience with it. Thanks my friend. By the way. I bought my undertail, my dapincci pipes, my HID's And this week My dapincci air ride. I will be putting my bike today tomorrow after i recieve the parts. I will post some pics. Let me know what u think.
Yeah, looks great Rod, good job!
Nice setup. I use chain wax and it keeps my chain from turning white. Is there a specific reason you are using grease?
That was a brand new chain. Thats how they come out of the box....with grease on em.
