Just dropped mine. Anyone else?

Oh, I spotted the problem.

The warning sticker made the bike off-balance, that's why it went over on the left side.

Seriously, sorry to hear. Fix it ASAP and ride on.

It's fixed already, see previous posts. I claimed on my insurance. I have fairing bobbins now too -- should be a factory fit on this bike. "Bad camber": adverse incline in road surface. Like when you come to a stop, you need one leg three inches longer than the other 'cos the road dips. Yeah I took off all the EU stickers and saved 3kg

Still need to get lower on this bike to make it comfortable.

I Dropped My First Bike at a Stop Sign the First Time I Rode it.......

I was SOO Nervouse I Forgot to put my Feet Down

I got lucky I didn't do that, it was close though. The bike stalled at a stop sign, I was trying to turn, and that forced all the weight to the left. I was not yet used to the clutch. I did everything I could to not let it touch, it was real close to the ground but I held it up somehow. Haven't had anything like that happen since that first day though.

"Wish I'd had fairing bobbins"

How about these? (T-Rex)

That T-rex is a great idea went looking for it but it was out of stock. I'm stuck here waiting.
Had just dropped my bike and that was while turning around in a parking lot. I bought some frame sliders and was trying to decide if I really wanted to cut my beautiful baby, when I saw that picture of the T-rex frame slider.

Do you know where else I can get one or if they are another kind?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to end up fixing it myself, using colorrite.

I dropped my 08 busa a week after i got it because i forgot to put the kickstand down.
It was a good thing i had frame sliders, they really work, no damage to the fairing. I broke off the left clutch lever thou.

went down for the first time in 20 years sunday. dropped it in the freshly cut, watered lawn. don't know what the hell i was thinking by applying the front brake. 2 many cold drinks obviously. no serious damage luckily.:beerchug:

If and when it happens to me, You wont need this board to hear about it.

Mine went down this weekend. Did have the kickstand all the way down and she fell against the drywall in my garage. Didn't hurt my baby thank goodness, but the wall was not so lucky. Gotta another hole to patch, but it saved my bike.

Sorry to here, we have all donr that at one time or another and if a bike rider says he hasen't he's lieing, I know it sucks but it's just paint and plastic, one thing is unless you are going to paint the whole bike, I would just get the panel and clutch lever replaced, IF thats all thats damaged you are probably looking at $650-700 dollars if theres more than that you may want to get you ins to pick it up

Fell off the kick stand in a parking spot slight decline 98 miles on it after it was lowered and some minor mods. To it apart and went crazy

That hurts when you have a new bike like that. I would get it fixed ASAP and you will not have to look at it.

I dropped my old Bandit at a light once (not sure how) it was embarrassing too.

I did the same thing on my Nighthawk. I was leaving in on my lawn and when I took my weight off the bike it fell over on me. I was thinking Great now I have a 400 lb motorcycle to dead lift off of my leg. Oh yea and It was still running thank the lord for kill switches. It did burn the crap out of my leg. Turns out pants are not that heat resistant when there is a lot of weight holding the heat source to your leg.
