Just dropped mine. Anyone else?

I drove over an empty water bottle whilst stopping and the Busa went right down. The photos below shows the scratches and yes the clutch handle was also broken. Replaced that first.

Most of the scratches were on the decal and by carefully placing the new one I eliminated 80% of the scratches.

Funny the other scratches polished right out. I wax my Busa with each wash and that might have helped.

Total cost for the clutch lever plus the decal amounted to +- $120.

You can see the result below. There is no sign of the mishap.

Hope his helps!
Good luck with your repairs.

Bad camber at a traffic stop. Left hand down. Mild damage considering. What a pisser. Anyone else dropped theirs yet? 235 miles on it. Still got half a clutch lever though. Might leave it until the winter to have it sorted. Anyone know any good painters in the Devon UK area?

Wish I'd had fairing bobbins

I fall off my dirt bike once a week, but never dropped the Busa. Sorry to hear about your dilemma.

Would you care elaborating a little how this happened. Short inseam, leaned the bike over too far, lost balance at the camber?

Guess it's time for frame sliders here.

I haven't dropped the 'busa (yet), but I have dropped a new bike in the past. Just shake it off, fix it up, and get back on the road. Besides, scratches build character. :beerchug:
