The michelin pilot road 2 is more of a touring tire using a med and hard compound. The pilot power 2ct is a soft and med compound. I run 2CT's pretty hard and they have forgiven my spirited riding mistakes a few times. I avg about 5000 for the front and 3200 for the rear.
My Michelins have never cupped and I don't run them past the wear bars.

I'm pretty much sold on the PR3 for the rears, just debating if I should just stick with PR3s for the front, or go softer and go 2CTs. Very few twisties in my neck of the woods, but I'd say I'm pretty aggressive.
