I dont know but it gets you thinking. Most of the time a speeding bike will kill himself only or nothing happens at all. Get in to a chase then the stakes change. Property and personal damage go up. I dont have any statistics to back this up of course just thinking about all the reports of bike accidents involving speed.

There are however many more deaths on the highways from cage on cage damage.

IMHO, if ya want to lay blame then do so. On the person or persons that are responsible. Lawyers will always go for deep pockets. Bottom line, if the biker violated the law and the officer initiated a proper traffic stop according to the law and policies of the agency, then the biker is responsible.

This is based on this thread v. facts. I say release the tapes.
