Meet-n-greet 2 (2006)

Well with going to the spring bash and nephew coming down for a couple weeks vacation will be limited. So not 100% sure I will make it but if I do I would vote for Sept 15-17.

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO STAY AT THE MEET-N-GREET II, SEPTEMBER 15-17th, 2006!
Time to plan the event and figure out what the group as a whole would like to do.... Obviously ride, eat, and meet are going to be at the top of this list! What are some of the lodging choices? Could use some of the locals help in naming a few so we can narrow this down.. Would like the place to be Motorcycle friendly, Safe to park/leave bikes, easy access to/from highway, centrally located, and most important "Affordable" for all members.

I'am more interested in Meeting you guys and eating ! I ride all the time so riding isn't a big deal with me. Where ever you guys want to stay and meet is OK with me also. I can either stay there or somewhere else --- NO BIGGIE

I think the pointe West would be ideal for lodging. About 10 miles from Eureka Springs, and off the beaten path "no traffic".
Lake view from every room. Phone 1-800-352-6616. Reasonable rates from past experience. "about $60 per night.

Looks good to me. If everything works out, we won't spend much time there anyway...We'll be enjoying the roads!

. She also does not ride or wants to ride, which means I get the best of both worlds. No Bags and anything I want to carry in the car (which means tons of cloths for my wifes 2 day stay

That price range works for me. I'm sure there will be some sharing of rooms and expenses for those on a low budget.

I sent email to pointe West enquiring about availability and discounts. Hope to hear from them soon. Will post reply as soon as i get it.

There is an army corp of engineers campground 1 mile from pointe west. beaver lake "island campground" And I too may bring my room with me.

I was just wondering how many will be riding 2 up?
My girlfriend wants to go with me. She loves to ride with me.

hey ! heard back from Barb at pointe West. She can give us a 10% discount on rooms which amounts to $7.50 off of the $75.00 normal rate. Rooms are available. I have stayed there many times in the past and feel that it is a good and hopefully safe spot to park our babies. the army corps. campground is about 1 mile from the motel. There are actually two areas too camp, dam site is reservable "below the dam" and Island"above the dam is non reservable but should have vacancies that time of year. The island campground is by far nicer, and has water access on beaver lake. I stay there 3-4 times every year.Electric on all sites, and water available.
