Men and Woman DOWN...

Pappy (DR1300R's dad) was the one who went down on the Skyway last year...we're still waiting to hear more on the conditions of the downed riders...prayers going out for their well-being and recovery

Is Naomi in stable condition?
That is a much better question than what I asked, and to a degree I feel embarrassed that I asked about Robert's ability to get a piece of machinery home.

For some reason I keep thinking and hoping that everyone is fine other than a few bruises and a couple of broken bones. Unfortunately this is not the case. A crash on the Chero normally happens at 55mph or more. Things get nasty, especially with a passenger.
Y'all have the latest info - at least from what I've heard this evening.
I read this part, <div class="iF-Passage"><div class="QUOTEHEAD">Quote:
<div class="QUOTE clearfix"><span class="quoteBegin"> </span>
Naomi had a broken femur, 4 broken ribs and a ruptured spleen I believe.
I just don't know if she's in stable condition, or critical?

Broken femur and ruptured spleen can be very very serious right?

last we heard, I believe, she is scheduled for some surgeries but I believe she is stable. We do not get a lot of info due to the HIPAA rules.

Roc and I rode back and got a trailer then brought the two bikes back to the hotel. As mentioned, I would assume both to be total losses, DO3's does not even roll. Both wheels are broken, a chunk of the rim is missing from the rear wheel, its a mess.

I am not sure how his bike will be transported from the phillips to its next stop, though I heard MacFast might be helping him out, not sure though. If someone is inclined to come collect it, my assumption would be that he will be here for a few days longer than planned to wait for Naomi to recover/be discharged. We are pulling out of here Sunday morning *early* so hopefully some arrangements can be made prior to then so the bike is not left all alone.

Thanks again for all the help. From the people attending the injured, to cleaning up the scene and helping get the bikes back everyone did a great job. Jimmy wanted me to pass on his gratitude to everyone as well.

I'm sure he'll post up in due time.

Keep us all updated.

Let DO3 know that my offer of riding up and loading the 2 of them and the bike up still stands. It will be Monday before I can make the trip now though.

My prayers are out to you all.
