MotoGP 2019

Lots going on indeed, Mav has looked pretty good all preseason , Yamaha have made a bike for him while Rossi just has to go with it, as usual cant write him off on race day tho...

Crashfest again, some teams have both riders bikes to sort out for tomorrow
The young guns are proving their worth, we'll see if it pans out well in the first few races for them, maybe we'll see who really are the better ones :D

Now i gotta go check out some Moto2 and 3

Shame about Millers seat....
Same ol for the big boys with the same 2 at the finish line and same order , good 3rd for Cal and Rins 4th, Alex has shown what the Suzi can do in the tight stuff - that is passing MM & AD quite easily there :super:need more POWAR :race: !

All 3 classes had close finishes as always Moto3 was outstanding , could've been a podium for Fenati if he read his dash correctly (he got a warning for exceeding track limits, but thought he had to do the long way round penalty and did- he didnt have to :banghead:)

Thats Kaito Toba winner of the Moto3 race today standing with u know who, wee fellas been a MotoGP fan for a while !

I think Dovi was holding the lead group up in the turns. Since the Ducati has the acceleration he was taking away the corner speed. Pretty brilliant strategy and he owned MM again. MM is going to get tired of Dovi stealing races and he is going to figure a way to get into the last turn without Dovi cutting off his momentum.

Vinales was his old self, everything going his way right up until the red lights go out and he heads toward the back of the field. Very strange. That's got to be in his head. And I still think Rossi maybe the most skilled rider out there. No matter what garbage he pulls up to the starting line on he is competitive, it's crazy. Funny how Vin sucks on race day and Rossi sucks on all the other days but brings it on Sunday. Gotta be driving Yamaha crazy.

Dovi's duke is crap going around corners Dovi had to stop 'embarrassingly' fast Rins, 'MotoGP different now'
and he was conserving rear tyre life, more survival than strategy i reckon. The brilliance of Dovi was his 'mistake' that let MM thru and then got to see where his rear tyre was at - almost gone like everyone elses.

Gotta agree about the Yamahahas scept for Fabio Quartararo he carved up pretty damned good from pit lane passing Factory bikes  on the way thru the field.

At the VisitQatar Grand Prix, the FIM MotoGP Stewards Panel received various protests concerning aerodynamic devices on the rear swing arm of Ducati machinery ridden by Andrea Dovizioso (Mission Winnow Ducati Team), Danilo Petrucci (Mission Winnow Ducati Team) and Jack Miller (Alma Pramac Racing).
The protests were made by Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Repsol Honda Team and Team Suzuki Ecstar, who presented their concerns to the FIM MotoGP Stewards Panel. Based on guidelines and regulations currently in force, the FIM MotoGP Stewards Panel rejected their protests.
An appeals process then began and the appeals panel has subsequently decided to refer the case to the MotoGP Court of Appeals in order to attain more information and detail pertaining to the matter.

So if the FIM rule this to not be an Aerodynamic feature (which is the whole point of the protest) how long before all of the others show up with Shovels taped to the Swingarms? I mean Yamaha already did it and the others will surely copy it just like they did with Ducati's wings, Look where that has gotten us!

I was reading an article today, talking about how all this has arisen in the wake of the Spec ECU/Michelin tire changeover. The Teams no longer can dial out wheelspin, wheelies etc, with the high dollar ecu's so they have adopted mechanical means to do the same thing, all in an effort to make the Michelin Rear tire live.

Argentina is in 2 weeks that ought to be plenty of time to whip up some absurd knockoffs for the next round. Gettin my popcorn ready!

On a side note, I also read that Lorenzo has a broken rib from his wreck in Practice the other day, Dude cant get a break!
