Yeah, like an F1 steering wheel. Must take a lot of skill and practice so that during the race, adjustments can safely be made. I imagine a gamer would be more inclined to adapt to the myriad of lights and switches. I kinda miss the old days when guys like King Kenny just gripped it and ripped it.

2022 Pramac Ducati of Martin. I predict Jack Miller will be ousted from the factory team and back on this bike sooner than later. If Martin stays Healthy, he will be a threat to Pecco and Fabio this year!

And anyone know what that little black box is protruding up beside what would be the fuel tank cover on a normal bike?

Transmitting engine data to the crew?

Prolly an iPhone.:D
Maybe a GPS antenna? I thought the teams can't communicate with the rider (limited communication) or machine during the race but they can attach status data to a spot on the track for review. Always wondered when someone would use a shadow ECU, sort of like a PC5. Triggered by GPS to a location on the track to alter the mapping. For example, setting for max hp on the straights and cutting back for the turns. Or maybe an automatically deployed holeshot/traction system. Don't know if that's legal though. Seems FIM is trying to make factories find performance in traditional ways not expensive high-tech gimmicks.

Arch, if you read that article I posted above David Emmett talks about how the ride height devices are being used on corner exit etc. Pretty intriguing I thought.

I hate to think of the idea of someone else remotely controlling a bike someone is riding.
