Motorcycle drivers license

Got mine reissued in Missouri when I was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. Had to take the written test first, once you pass that you get a learners permit. That is good for six months, of course anytime during that period I could have taken the riding portion of the test for the actual license. The riding test wasn't bad but would be more difficult on a Busa...

been ridin on/off for 5 years-in WI u really only get 6-7 good months to ride each year. Got lic. in Oct. 05 had to drive 90+ miles from Milwaukee to Madison for riding test(took written in Milw) but it only takes 10 min. If your not a big guy-200+ lbs.-try to use a smaller bike. Busa sux in low-speed turns and accelerates like mad from any speed. If you're a vet rider tho, test shouldn't be too tuff. Practice turns and always turn yer head COMPLETLY to check oncoming traffic at intersections-instructors are sticklers for that shid. Hardest part after that is keepn a busa under the legal speed limit! good luk 2 ya

Motorcycle lic.  since I was 16 lots of years ago.

if you take motorcycle safety course, you just have to take your completion card in and the driving and waiting part is waived. had my license since 94 off and on riding....BUT I picked up my blk/sliver busa monday

Got my Permit when I got my first bike. Dealer was insistant. After I had my permit for a month or so went and took my road and written test. This was in like 1992 I think...

Had my endorsement ever since.

Here we go again with these threads that make a guy tell his age.....I got my edorsement August of 1974, a loooong time ago. Took my test on a 1970 Kawasaki H-1 500 triple in downtown Golden, Colorado. It was a b*Tch cause, as usual, one or more plugs were trying to foul and it wouldn't idle.

I took the test 3 years ago on a brand new bike (Yamaha Warrior) and I hadn't ridden in 6 years. I was nervous, but passed with no problems.
