Mototeck undertail - group buy

damn. Didn't quite anticipate the space reduction. I guess our stock undertails will be useless with the fender we'll have to dremel off.

BTW-the metal pegs that the bungees hook onto on the undertail, how is that removed? Is it removed when you pull the stock undertail or does it unscrew?

I did the hump mod and use the space in the hump for storage.

someone asked earlier about the wiring.. it is NOT plug and play as i had thought.. you will have to splice the new wires into the old..

Please let me know if this will be problem asap.

i think it is easy, but i know some people maybe concerened.

if you arent sure of what wires to splice together just twist them together temporarily and make sure they ( bare wires ) dont touch any metal to test out the brake/turnsignal lights before you splice them... it cant be to hard since there are only a few wires back there... warputer i'm sure would be happy to answer/clarify any questions we might have on wires? !

i have been checking the link and have seen no UPS tracking number as of yet for my order number...I am not at home, so I do not know if they sent an email to me or not with the info. waiting patiently!!

Well it looks like we're in for a little more waiting time. Got an email saying that the undertail is being pulled from the warehouse and being prepared for packaging and shipping. It sounded like this process might take 1-6 business days before it finally gets shipped out and we'll get an email with tracking number when it reaches the carriers (UPS?) regional distribution center. I typically have to wait about 6 business days for something shipped UPS from the left coast. Worst case scenario I'm maybe lookin at another 2 weeks before I see it.

Ditto on the email. No biggy. They said a total of 6-10 business days for the typical transaction.
