yeah.. guys.. sorry but UPS tracking number should be arrivng my email soon.. (maybe Saturday).. hoping latest my monday.. most of you guys should get your undertail at our house by next week. (Beginning of March)
in the mean time... i went to walmart bough a mini hacksaw.. 10", $3.49... going to do the mud flap trim for practice..
if you have never removed your rear cowl..
here is a good walk through..
also.. be caeful when removing the plastic rivets
you want to push in slightly the center piece then remove the whole push pin.. when reinstalling push the center all the way in, till it clicks..
i would recommend waiting to remove the rear cowl until the new undertail in.

I am going to use a dremmel also except im going to get the cutterdrill bit . its a drill bit designed to actually cut .. then im going to butcher class .. Actually gonna take 200mph ducktape and tape out the line so i dont bugger it up to bad.. I like it neat and clean..
I used a Dremel with a rotary cutting bit. It makes quick work of the cutting. Take your time and hold your hand steady. Nice thing is anything that doesn't look good will be covered.

I went to the mototek website and printed off the instructions there. They were better than the ones that came with the undertail. The installation pictures were way better too. I ended up using a hacksaw blade(blade only) to do the cutting. The dremel didn't work well for me.
The cutting isn't as critical as I expected. Just take a good look at the installation pics on mototek's website and cut like they did. I did find that my original plastic rivets didn't go in very well. About half of them broke when I tried to re-use them. I bought new honda rivets that fit very well. I liked the style of them better than the oem suzuki ones. There was supposed to be rivets with the kit, but mine were not there.
It took a few hours, I went very slow to make sure I did things right. I definately took more time than I needed to. It was pretty easy once I got over worrying about cutting and making a mistake.

Ill be patient for a little while .. But not to long..You figure they had to get everyones info and those who paid with credit card at to be verified then they have to make oeder and more then likely drop ship from mototeck wich is overseas.. It takes time...
I was told all of the undertails were in stock. and only the white LE or peole requesting special lense color would have to be ordered from mototeck overseas..
Please be a bit more patient.
if anyone does get a tracking number please let us know.

I am sorry to seem a bit harsh, but this is BS. We were supposed to have these IN HAND no more than 10 days from last thursday. 4 days ago the order was finalized and I know that they aren't sending them next day air. Considering we paid as much as we did for "shipping and handling" you would think there would be a greater effort to get these items to us. Most items are marked up 50% from what they actually cost the dealer. These guys made alot of money off of this transaction and I am a bit pissed off that they haven't shipped them yet. I know this isn't your fault kkattan, but these guys need to stand behind thier word or give us some money back. Thanks for letting me vent.
understand your vent but you said yourself that it was finalized just four days ago so technically that would be 6 left to get them.. Not gonna get here any faster raising cain .we are all in it so not like there gonna stiff us would be very bad business considering on how many paople use this site . and you can bet they are aware of that..
