For anyone interested, this is how I wired mine....Please read the whole thing before you do yours.
Cut the two connectors off the turn signals about 4-5 inches back. Cut the white plug coming from the tail light assembly about 6 inches back. Always good to have a little extra wire. I soldered my turn signals together and put shrink tubing over the solder joint. Got the shrink tubing from Walmart. If you use the tubing...remember to put the tubing on the wire before soldering.
The yellow wire on the undertail to the solid black on the connector and the black on the undertail to the white and black on the connector.
For the balance of the connections I got some banana plugs from a local car audio shop. These are crimp connectors and they are a very positive and tight connection when together.
The rest of the wires on the undertail are bundled together and connected as follows.
1. The two green and one black marked ground go to the black and white on the stock connector.
2. The 3 red from the undertail marked running goes to the brown on the stock connector.
3. The three yellow wires from the undertail marked brake goes to the two white and black wires on the stock connector.
Disclaimer....I hooked this up to my bike before I committed to crimping and soldering and it worked on my 05. I couldn't test the rear brake cuz my caliper is off the bike, but it worked with the front brake. I would suggest you test yours as well because I don't know if the wiring is the same for all years. Overall a very simple task....for me anyway. I'm through untill tomorrow when I have some natural light. Now it's off to the basement to watch Jarhead.....hooooahhhh.
Oh and for future ease of reconnecting, I marked 2 of the 3 connectors on each half. One with black paint and the other with white.
