Mototeck undertail - group buy

I caleed and asked about the rivets and was told Mototeck stopped including them last year and they just haven't updated their instructions yet. They said the stock rivets work fine.

Would I be out of line if I said the instructions SUCK!!!?  Not to mention, the installation does not appear to be solid and I think there will be vibration noise issues because of this.  Anyone else feel this way?  And also, 25 bucks for shipping was BS, I sent an entire exhaust system 1100 miles away in a 4' long box for less than that with insurance included.  This deal is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Hell, I didn't get any instructions. I also don't understand how they didn't have any stainless tag brackets when he knew he was getting 20+ orders two weeks ago. We got totally screwed on the shipping. There is a major online retailer that sells the same tail shipped for $4 more than we paid. Had I not committed to the group buy, I probably would have went that route. I'm not trying to take away from all of the effort kkattan put into this(I know it's a lot) but the supplier should not have accepted this group purchase being so ill prepared. Some people haven't even got a tracking no. yet. Rant off.
 
I agree on the instructions. If i hadnt followed the link (supplied by kkattan i belive) i wouldve had a hard time figuring our where to cut the tail. This however seems to be indicative of these sorts of add ons. had the same kind of instructions with most of the parts i bought for my quads/dirtbikes.

And also when I go to dinner and everybody orders food even know some orders take longer to prepare everybody's food arives together.Kattan great job on the idea and preperation I hope you come up with another group buy it's that undertail dealer that has to get his stuff together.
 
I'm a pretty patient man for the most part but this really has taxed mine. Luckily I have other larger things in my life to stress over but I think I'm done with group buys. Nothing against Kattan, he handled it well on his end. I called in my payment the first day and not once have I been notified of anything.

It really bothers me to see companies operate the way they do now. After three months of waiting on a new $70k printer to arrive it finally shows up yesterday and the now I find out from my dealer that I have to wait another week for their tech guy to show up and install it. I was originally told that it would be set up the day it arrived. So here I sit staring at a new useless printer and losing thousands of dollars a day. I've made three $1,800.00 payments on it already and it still isnt up and running.

So yes I'm dissapointed that I have no undertail. I guess some things take more prescidence when it comes to being pissed off.
 
sorry everyone... just hang in there a few more days... as far as quaility or color matching.. you should be totaly happy.. if not call vendor.. undertail comes with one year warranty that includes the LEDs

please make sure you have replied to my PM yesterday about Status.. and again..YES the vendor is really doing their best, i promise you that!
 
Did anybody remove the foam gasket from around the rear faring before installing new under tail.
