My bike is in!!

I’ve had the H2 SX SE for more than 2 years, and I use it for everything from daily rider to touring. It has ruined me due to its smooth and quiet speed. So many other bikes are pale in comparison now. I plan to keep it still. I wanted a second motorcycle that would be similar, sportier but not a sport bike. When I watched the Youtube reviews I thought the new Hayabusa would be a good choice.

Dude, I own a '15 BMW K1300s Motorsport. Thinking about the new Busa. Talk to me about the differences in the bikes.
Ok before i get into my opinion of the differences below are the parameters
BMW seat time: '11 BMW K1300s that i put abt 28K miles so far.. i also had a Ducati Multistrada in the past with 20K miles or so and S1000RR for a bit (loved the S1000)
Hayabusa seat time: 0.. never rode one before.. i bought this purely based on my gut
Experience: street + touring
Rider profile: 5' 8" about170 Lbs
BMW modifications: Full system exhaust, Hi flow BMC air filter and ECU tuning

Motor: I do not have any prior experience riding the Hayabusa, honestly i am pleasantly surprised by the smoothness of the motor and linear power delivery.. the busa's motor felt more smoother in the first 450 miles than my 28K tuned K1300s motor, busa is just very smooth..it almost seemed like its already broken in at 0 miles.. i can say one of the best motorcycle motors i ridden.. Time will tell how it will hold up

Stability at speed: Busa wins hands down, due to lower ride height and whatever they did to this i feel more stable than the K1300s

suspension: Busa, no doubt.. The BMW tele lever suspension even though it does not dive, has a vague feel when hitting bumps and corners... this is far better

cornering: K1300s i am always on high alert; busa is confidence inspiring

fit and finish: switch gears and controls feels comparable to bmw quality.. the plastics, wheels etc seemed better on the bmw

seat and foot pegs: I have a sargent seat on the bmw and i like it definitely better than the busa. Foot peg positioning is better on the K1300s, also the busas foot pegs seemed slightly slippery with the riding shoes..i am planning to change these

Braking: Busa is better; though i also like the K1300s

Mileage: My K1300s with aggressive throttle is about 37 MPG; this is close to 39 MPG.

I will keep my K1300s, i still enjoy riding it for other reasons.. I am not planning to do any exhaust or engine modifications.. I like the looks of the 4-2-2 exhaust, its very quiet, stealthy and i am actually enjoying the quiet exhaust note

If you are considering the busa, go for it. For the price and cost of the spares etc ., you will not regret.. hope this helps

Crossed the 500..
