Very nice...I did mine last winter. I did everything except the grantite countertops. It took about a month of weekends and alot of microwave dinners, but it was worth it.

Looks very nice now that you have stained. i love the Island and the open (window) cabnets at the top. nice and roomy.

what about granite tiles? they cost me about 9.00 a square ft and go on like tile, i went with a burgundy/grey/black color called dakota mahogany and butted the ends close and used dk grey grout my kitchen and yours are about the same size counterwise and even after using a marble edging i spent about 2 grand labor and matierials. slab granite was 6000.00!
