My name is Kris Kahle (Lotus49) and i want to apologize. I ripped people off here

Man some of you all are really harsh on this Kris guy. He has come back to here seemingly on his own to make things right. A lot are jumping down his throat before he's even had a chance to do one person right. Omar has already posted he's owed $200 so let him start from there. If this guy owes you, email him as he has requested and provide any transaction ID he needs to make sure you're getting paid everything he owes you. Everyone else back up a second and take a breath...like others have said this happened so long ago it's hard to imagine anyone wanting to come back unless they were truly sorry and felt bad enough to want to pay people back. I highly doubt any court would know about any Paypal fraud unless someone brought charges against him and obtained a judgment in court. I think sometimes people take this forum way too seriously and with all the banning and such lately feel this place is something others can't live without in their life. Kris seems sincere and here of his own accord, lets let him have at least a chance here with Omar to make a start with his retribution to members who he has stolen from.

Once a thief, always a thief - yes, same as once an alcoholic always an alcoholic...but people can rehabilitate and turn their life around. Just keep that in mind. His past actions do not dictate his future actions will repeat the past. "Judge not less ye be judged" He's done his time, give him one shot at "doing the right thing". Everyone here has done something at some point in their life they wish they could take back, this is his.

If he fails Omar then ya'll can send out the lynch mob.

From a very personal stand point, the steps you are about to take will start your life in a whole new direction-nothing will make more of a difference than ACTION-thats what will make people know your serious. After having run my life and that of the people I loved in the ground from drugs & drinking, it will take sometimes years to fix things but dont ever give up:rulez: I'm hoping & praying for ya man, regardless of the reason for doing what your doing, and it may take awhile, good things will start coming your way.Just follow though, I wish you the best on this new path:welcome:

thank you.... give the guy some room to fix his errors.... If i was in his shoes I think i would like at least some time to fix stuff... If I was getting clobbered by a bunch of guys that were not even involved? I would probably give up...

lighten up guys...

I would hope that since he has posted this, that he will make amends, to everyone that was involved!
Time will tell the truth here, bashing him at this point wont help anything!
My advice for anyone involved, is to contact him threw face book, and see what come out of it!
Kris it takes a man to admit his faults, and take a man to fix them, so lets see how you do!

God is watching so it doesnt really matter to me. In the end we all answer to him.
On the face he sounds like he is trying to clean his insides so he can sleep at night and for that I commend him.
The first step is admission...

If he is here to make the $$ thing right and extreemachine was also stiffed (posted up in the bike parts for sale thread), someone needs to get his money for his family.

we'll see how it goes I'm gonna sit on the fence you never stole from me but I understand. I hope that your sincere in your efforts. I personally am not going to bash anything until I see the end result Omar posted and if he receives his cash then I see it as a pretty legit thing.

I don't believe he is asking for forgiveness so much as the chance to make it right. In my humble opinion it takes a great deal of strength and humility to say you want to fix your errors. Everyone in this life has made a bad decision some are worse than others, However the ability to realize and make amends for them not for forgiveness because it is the right thing to do is a big thing.

That being said I hope for the best and prepare for the worst in a situation such as this I just hope your not someone using some other guys Myspace to screw with him because based on what I'm seeing on that page you don't look affected by being in prison for that length of time. And being silent for 4 pages of thread doesn't ut you in a very credible light. Just Saying no need to defend yourself but chiming in to know your serious would be a good start.

His last log-in was 0445 - people do have a life to lead outside the org, gotta give the guy a chance to be back here and see what people are reading and respond before you start calling his self-defense of all the haters into question.

When he makes full restitution,... only then should anyone believe he is turning his life around.

His "trust" bank account is bankrupt. Pay the dept with interest.
I smell a con man with a beamer.

is he here to try to bilk us from more of something? maybe, maybe not
is he guilty of doing something stupid to the members in the past? yes, yes he is
is he at least publicly trying to make things right/better? by his words yes
will he succeed in achieving what he states he wants to? his actions and time will tell
is it anyone's business if he did not steal from you? yes, its every members responsibility to look out for the other members here. A thief is a thief, he can make amends but should be kept on a short leash and escorted at all times.

Some of you all seem to have some rather "supportive" positions with this guy. Perhaps you have a live and let live thing... or maybe you are just really positive folks. Great for ya

There is a history of members, new and old taking advantage of the membership here. Most of the folks that have posted in this thread have no clue what I'm talking about, the old farts like me remember full well how someone deeply rooted in the membership swindled thousands from folks, many times what this guy claims his total to be. Some things are just not excusable some are. When things like this are brought to light, it opens old wounds for some folks. This guy stealing money from members is no different than if he stole their bike....stealing is stealing and well... thieves should be summarily shot, then questioned

Here is the bottom line -
Supporting him? Nope. Working against him? Nope. I want to see that people get thier money back. There are a few people who stand out in my mind who have robbed this board of trust. Lotus49 is one of them... in the second post in this thread, I explained to him that he would see these reactions and that actions speak louder than words. Why did I even post in this thread? Because I was one of the people who had to help clean up a little. His is one of the names that would occassionally pop up. Whether or not he is welcome here as a member - that is not for me to say. I would like to see people get thier money back but there are people who are correct - once paid back it is up to the individuals who were wronged to decide how they recieve him then. Way to many people making comments in this thread who know nothing of the situation or circumstances... that won't help one way or the other. With he be able to interact as a normal member? No - too many of us remember the problmes that he causes and the excuses for why it was all happening. He was gone after, by several people at the time... some of the issues may have been cleared up... so far the only person here who has spoken up was Omar... we don't know how many people have contacted him, but they are the only ones who can truely contribute to this thread; I am waiting to hear from them. It isn't for people who weren't involved to either forgive or condemn.

Hmmm after reading all the posts.I always believe nobody's perfect.Should give him a chance, time will tell.Hopefully Omar will update us on his status. From there we will see a clearer light.

so in 9 mos of being out of jail, he's "worked" his way into a new 3 series, and here i thought most felons had a hard time getting jobs. let alone good credit and a $25k car.

actions speak louder then words, and the inet is only words.

now when somebody posts up that he paid back X amount of $, then he;s redeemed himself.

Just a thought as I have really nothing to do with it...
Seems like along time ago.
Should you all have not forgiven him by now anyway, or are you still holding a burning little grudge against him....dont want to aggravate anyone.

I sent a guy a check for 3500 for a rifle I never got.....few mos later still upset I let it go cuz I cant hold it inside for long..
Sure it would ne nice to get your money back but an apology from the one who took it os a start...

The long story made slightly less long is this -
Cache, Creekboy and Lotus are names that have scarred this board more than you can imagine; I am not forgiving enough to just let it go, not after what he put us through. He is one of the reasons that we have become so skeptical of people selling things on the board... and I will not just lay that down. Again, he should expect backlash after what he did, and make is amends with the people that he burned. But he should not expect to be welcome here and should not expect people to let bygones be bygones.

He should expect to make his peace with himself - he is clearing his own conscience; if that is truely what is at work here. And for what it is worth, there have been too many members that we have had to clean up after because of stuff like this. Anyone here is welcome to hold it against me if they would like, but I will never welcome him here - I would and will not shake his hand.

It's wierd how all the people talking trash on here have not been ripped off by him and are adding to the post count with lots of useless posts. If you didn't get ripped off, stay off this thread. I'd like to hear from the guys that were ripped off. But you have to scan over 3 pages of posts to find 2 that were scammed. Sheesh!!!

So your solution to what you view as a useless post is to...add another uesless post? got it.

Not saying you should or would shake his hand Mc.
Just saying personally it is not good to hold it inside you for long.
Sure if the guy who took my $ showed up I dont think I would welcome him inside.
Just simply accept his apology and ask him to leave if that is all he has to offer.

Again there is only one 'person' who really knows what is going on here and he is watching all so I am not worried.
We will all get answers to every question ever asked upon passing..
