My Pastor's Bike.............What is it?

Wow, just as I posted you had already figured it to be an ACE.
Do you Know what that stands for?
Man people really know their stuff here.

The name Shadow is just how it sounds. It's the american twin's shadow. The design of the VTX came from late 50's Indian, even designed in the loud 1-2 2-1 clunk on the trans shift. The Reto's are a knockoff of the Indian in Honda's way.

American Classic Edition

Thanks Guys,
Yeah he is a loud one compared to my stock '09.
He and my wife are going to ride to Santa Ana to do a Prayer walk and they asked me to escort them and I said a BIG NO, the Busa is just not the bike you want to park in the middle of courthouse town and leave for a walk. They are going to ride and I will be escorting them in my wife's truck, she will be on the '97 Bandit and he on his '03 Shadow.
I will get pics and post em tomorrow.

Yep 750 ACE, had the same bike but in Orange, good solid reliable bike there, those bikes can take punishement and not miss a lick, had a buddy who did not believe in any kind of oil changes or chain adjustment, just beat the snot out of it, never had one problem,

American classic edition. I totally forgot about that edition which is why I said 1100. But really the 750 ace is designed to be a small bike posing as a big bike ( larger tins, handlbars etc)

So my bad for jumping the gun on the 1100.

Good news though cause the shadow 750 is a better bike =)

The 750 Shadows were shaft driven. I was goin to say a Magna but I don't remember if they were shaft or chain drive.

--Wag--

I believe all 600s are chain driven. The 750s were all chain driven until 2004 or 2005. The ACE was then replaced by the AERO which is shaft driven. I know the subsequent Spirit still was chain drive. As far as I know all VTC1100s were shaft drive, last 15 years anyhow.

Here is a picture of the Shadow my wife had. It was a 2003 ACE slammed with a Corbin and a bunch of billet.
