Isn't it scary how supportive your wife may be about certain things? When I asked my wife how she felt about me getting a Busa, she was so supportive, I sort of paused, thinking about what the catch was? Needless to say, I got my Busa and I am even more sensitive to supporting her goals and activities, just in case.

Find a nice used low mileage Busa and ride, paid off! Or even a leftover new 08'Busa.

If she was going to let you get the Busa before and keep her bike then keep it, even if it is stored for a year or two. Better yet cutom that thing out. But if you have to unload it to get a Busa then sell sell sell. Even better keep the better of the two harleys (hers and yours) unload the other and be a little ahead. I would just keep at least one bike around for her for when she wants an afternoon to herself.

Not yet. We had the 1st long talk last night. She doesn't plan to ride much b/c of the kiddo. She paid for her own scotter and I paid for mine. So she owes me nothing. Said she wanted to help me get the Busa. Feels good to hear that, just trying to make sure I'm not looking with a selfish eye. We'll have a few more talks first. I don't want any sellers remorse 6-12 months from now. And to add more...

She won't be able to ride either bike. She's not tall enough. That's why she rides the sporty with the low seat. Now you're seeing my point all the more.

Course she like just riding behind me as of late. Which I definitely don't mind.

Voted for the Busa, but have to confess, I have never ridden a Harley, or a cruiser for that matter. I only know European style bikes.

If I want noise and vibration, I hop on my dirt bike, which by the way stays ahead of most Harley's up to about 80mph.

I have been riding sport bikes since we use to have to build them with parts from Hap Jones and HD's for nearly as long. I love the noise and vibration and the cool thing is you only think you are going fast!

I think it would be an interesting race to either of my HD's, of course neither one is stock. That begs a question, as much as I love 'em who would ever want to ride a stock one?
