Question for you all

Big mistake my girlfriend asked me (circa 1970). Would you sell your Vincent?
She's gone. Still have my Vincent (since 1966)

You mean there is such a thing as a man without a pair of gonads? WHERE I WANT PICTURES!!!

Get the bike they either accept it and stay or they don't and leave. I have to agree with others here. especially DO3 GET THE MAN CARD BACK!!!

I never understood it when someone says my other half won't LET me do something. I talk things over with my wife, but she knows if she ever said I couldn't do something, we would have a problem. That would be the same as me saying she couldn't ride, when at the age of 59 she expressed an interest in learning how to ride herself.

HOLY SMOKE! MY WIFE DONT LET ME DO NOTHEN. I"M a grown man, i do what i please.:rulez: Can you say puss wupped! Oh and by the way my wife bought my busa on her birthday. Did really say your wife (lets) you ride? How the hell can she stop you?

They think about themselves and the loss of you. Say to themselves what will I do, who will take care of me-mentally and physically.

It' s been my experience, that they' ve pretty much solved that mystery, and are usually being "taken care of" while I, not home!

The wife was never against it, but wanted to make sure our finances were straight before I bought another one. Which I know my responsibilities come first anyways. I rode a bit a few years before meeting her. The only thing she didn't like was the first time she followed me, she said when I hit the corners, she thought I was going to fall off. She has gotten used to it now.

I have a girlfriend that is that was. Her man, (also a friend of mine) wanted to get a bike and she said, "NO WAY." I told him if he was a man he would do it any way... and he did.

If your wife/girlfriend loves you then she will support you no matter what. My husband has been riding for the past 20 years. When we got together a few years ago I HATED the idea. But being supportive I went and took the MSF course (he did it with me) just to say I did it. And you know what... I was hooked! Never in a million years did I think I would be on a motorcycle. I found out what I was missing. If you told your wife/girlfriend she could not do something that she loved you would get laughed at!

If any guy listens when he is told, "You can't have a bike because I don't want you riding..." Please do mankind a favor...

Go go her purse... and take your damn balls back! :poke:

FYI, it happens to the ladies as well. Some people actually dont want to share that and enjoy the time away from their spouse I hear. Ive been single since I got the busa...no one can handle us I suppose...lol.

It's not that... They just can't stand being with someone faster then they are.

I'm sure all of you have heard of guys whether friends or relatives that want to start riding but their wife/girlfriend won't let them. I know 4 of them right now that want to ride and just can't do it.

:wtf:

I told my wife on Fri I was going to get a bike, She said no your not, I went out on Sat. with a buddy of mine and saw the Busa.

I brought it home Tues and put in the garage.

When the wife came home from work I asked her did she want to see my new bike, Its in the garage.'

She told me that when I didnt come home with one that Sat. She knew it was just a matter of time.

She now tells me if she knew how happy it was going to make me she would have told me to get it a long time ago.

(( Tell your Friends / Relatives to Grow a pair. ))

Also some one on the board said something the other day. :beerchug:

Its better to ask for Forgiveness than Permission

Hey, sometimes you gotta get away from the honey-do's, or just the endless b*tching and moaning. My buddy that talked me into getting a bike gets annoyed all the time, and needs to get away. It was actually his wife' s idea for him to get a bike, because he sold his last one, and traded trucks with his dad to eliminate bills to buy a house. When she gets on his nerves, he'll take off on the bike. If she had a bike she might wanna go ride with him. He got bored and wanted someone to ride with, so he got me into it. That' s the beauty of being single, you don' t have to get away from anyone!

Yep! That' s why as a rule of thumb, I only date chicks that own slower vehicles than me! j/k

then they have issues... Most men that ride would be proud to be with a chick that rides no matter how much attention you got!

She' s got a point! A good lookin woman, on a good lookin bike...WOW! I'm actually quite surprised, and very impressed there are some that ride Busa's. I just hate to have to admit that at this point, you could all ride better than me! Gotta get my practice in when it warms up!

If you are with someone you feel the need to "get away from" then you are with the wrong person. :poke:

That's the beauty of being with someone that rides. When you get on a bike you don't have to worry about the *****ing. That's why I try to talk people OUT OF CHATTERBOX!! When you are on your bike that should be "me" time. I put in my IPod and go. I don't want to talk to anyone but my bike while I ride.

Well, that' s my problem, I' m never with the right person. I did have one g/f I didn' t want to get away from though. I just should have better prepared myself for how it would end when she told me she' d lost track of how many guys she' d been with.... ???

If your other half wont let you get a bike, they dont love you. PERIOD Its dangerous, what if, why must you...? If you loved someone you would want them to be happy.

I expect 4 man cards on my desk monday morning pending a formal hearing!!!
