My x and kids are vaxxed and two of them caught it about a day apart. It's pretty unlikely they both caught it from different sources at the same time. One spread it to the other or possibly they went somewhere and caught it from the same source. I'm leaning more toward "one caught it from the other" since they were about a day apart in showing symptoms. Most likely, we have here a vaxxed person who caught it and then spread it to another vaxxed person.

I got a little sloppy with my mask wearing but started putting it on again near the end of summer. Now I always use it. It might not be something to rely on for absolute protection but I think it helps an appreciable amount. We're getting close to two years and I haven't been sick with anything in all that time. I rarely have been sick throughout my life but I came down with something the first two maskless years of living in this community. Second two, with mask--nothing. I'll keep wearing it just to avoid catching a normal cold since it seems to be helping.

I never wear one.It causes me breathing difficulty and it’s part of the govs’who Shouldnt wear masks’ so I’m covered with that.
I don’t want one near me.I don’t get sick either.If the fear has gripped a person(which it has many) then you ‘draw’ the fear to you.This alone will make you ill.Or at least make you more prone than someone that doesn’t give a sh1t about it.
The law of attraction and all that.Unfortunately it applies to things that aren’t necessarily good or positive also.

My concern about this is that without the constant attacks that keep your immune system humming, once you take the mask off for good you'll be frequently sick.

Of course that would depend on whether the masks do something other than provide mental security for the wearer.

Which side of the argument is Flip-Flop Fauci touting today? I've lost track.

Masks and all the hand sanitizer and all the anti-bacterial chemicals people are using almost everywhere are going to catch up to us...as you've pointed out, our bodies need to be exposed to bacterias and germs in order to get our immune systems all fired up....

I agree, when the mask order is lifted there are going to be a lot of people with colds and then the flu will make a come back with a furor.

My neighbors are teachers and the husband teaches high school, those kids could care less about school especially on line. He's had a few who log in then goo to work...he reaches out to the parents who say the guy is 17, what can I do? If that kid had to be in an actual classroom, he might have a chance for his future.

Even universities here aren't even looking at the past 2 transcripts as they know on line schooling is not good.

It's a sad thing all around...II feel for the kids having to struggle for their futures.

Modern schooling doesn't teach you much.... I have ADHD I refuse to medicate and I couldnt focus in school I dropped out and started working I haven't looked back... I love reading and learning things I'm interested in, not things that are a waste of my time and financial future.

I was told if I quit I won't get anywhere in life well.... now I'm G2 certified (I can work anywhere in the world) and make more than professors in universities. Schooling isnt for everyone.

I've often thought there should be a trend to start up trade schools again...people such as yourself can go to these sorts of schools to learn and trade and not stuff they will never use..

I dropped out of school to join the army but got my GED after along with a few university courses. Having tis education helped me when I went over into the SOF world as it is a very technical place to be in these days.

I have a neighbor who is an unemployed teacher with a master's degree amongst a few other degrees...we are in a smaller area and she is far too educated to work in most schools, she has more education than the superintendent

I'm not bashing anyone with an education, they put in alot of work and sacrifice and the majority make more than I do hourly (rightfully so) I just don't think modern schooling fits everyone... I also went to a catholic school and I'm extremely atheists so that also didn't help (family is religious).

i also went to Catholic school got whipped my monks for looking at a girl in a funny way

had catholic faith rammed down my throat, cant stand the hypocracy of covering up the child paedophilia, billions of assets locked up in Vatican city i could go on...
 
Well I'm going to have to eat my words again... we are back to masks, limited gatherings and all provincial or federal employees need to vaccinated or family covid tests to work... we are also implementing covid passports in oct... yet we are having sold out football games odd really... we hit our vaccination target but I guess that wasnt good enough.

A side thought we have an employee hes been fully vaccinated for the past 3 months (moderna) he contracted covid 3 weeks ago he is in ICU on a ventilator with no preconditions. Moderna is suppose to work better than pfizer...
