The Busa went away today. Bitter sweet. I miss it already. It was replaced with a 2018 Ultra Classic. It is definitely a learning curve attached to this. Totally different creature. Some miles and seat time I’ll be doing better. So comfortable to ride and my hands don’t hurt!!!!!!!!!

Cruise control is nice too. Got Christy on it and she likes the ride. Have only ridden it home and around the block a bit and home but more miles to come.

As long as the boss lady is happy with it, you are golden...it will be a vastly different experience from the Busa I'm sure.

Now you need to grow a beard and find out where all the coffee shops are so you have somewhere to go hang out..

At least that's what the HD guys do around here...

The tires need replacing so they are doing that as part of the deal sometime this week. Tomorrow I’ll cut and buff the paint then take it out for a few miles.

Started with the color for me. Other things I like are the cruise control. It also has a navigation system and alarm. Hand warmers although I’m not sure I’ll need to use those for a while. It also had a comfy back seat for my wife to ride on.

How good is proper cruise control !

I always laughed it off as being about as useful as an ashtray, but having had it on 2 different bikes over the last 3 years I’m now looking for it on my older bikes and wishing they had it too.

Im certainly a convert.

It may not have busa power right now but can get close to it but it still has all that weight to pull around. The guy my business partner and I bought our dyno from owns Michigan baggers racing and build engines with close to 200 hp and they move and can make 9 second passes. Hate to see you have to give up that awesome busa even more so since you wouldn't take my offer of pie as a trade but glad to see you still on two's and able to enjoy it.

Couple of pics from this am. Still need to do a deep polish but not too shabby for just some cleaner wax. The paint really comes alive in the sun.
