New exhaust install

I really like that look. I showed my wife, she say's "Your's looks fine, why would you want to spend any money to change it?" I just don't think she understands.

No the better half never understands. Maybe you can keep trying to convince her that you need an exhaust and she'll get tired of hearing about it and finally give in.

Nice looking bike...I have the same exhaust and love it!  Awesome look and sound.  I have to know where you got the "plugs" to fit in the passenger foot pegs.  I would love to have a set.
Thanks,
gynx
Thanks, here is a link to Schnitz racing that sells the exhaust mount plugs. Be sure to order quanity 2, because they don't come in pairs. There are also some on ebay, but I don't think that they look as nice.

Nice I am thinking of getting HMF's BUT with 2 BigBird Cans on it... Any comments about using 2 BigBird Cans will be appreciated!!!! Do you all think they will work well do well etc...

Very nice job! Sage tried to talk me into some high mounts, but I can't bring myself to it. Do the plugs just tap in? And do they come chrome?

yes sir...you were right the schnitz one look nicer than the ones on ebay. they were kinda pricey i thougt, but i've never seen them before and have been wondering what i could do about filling the hole in.

Thanks. It is a pretty good system, I like the looks of the dual setup, so it was my only choice. For the plugs, you have to remove the rubber gromet and all out of the mount, and then they just screw in. I couldn't stand the look of an empty hole, so I had to get them.

Yeah the schnitz do look nicer and am pleased with how they look, rather than having an unsightly hole. I'm sure you will be happy with them.

Also, to all of the exhaust specialists; The pipe that comes close to the rear swingarm; would it be fine to beat the pipe in some so that I can relower my bike? I really like the lowered look and am more comfortable riding it lowered. Here is a pic of the area that I am talking about.
I have the same set up and lowered. I shaved the bracket about 2" from the bend that will hit your swing arm. I took a point about 1 inch from each mounting holes that are closest to each other. One hole attatches to the pipe the pther to the frame under the foot pega. No need to bend it. I have not found it to be any nore flimsey after shaving some excess metal. Good luck

I've ridden about 130 miles on the setup now and already love it. I have gotten even more looks then before. I haven't had a chance to crack it open too much, because yesterday I passed a cop coming towards me doing 110, and needless to say I got a flashing light warning. I was too paranoid to try again. I like the looks of the high duals and am different around here cause every busa I've seen has boltons. Muzzy, akro, and stock. So right now I'm the only one with a full system.
