THe looks you get and the sound is great. I have had mine since 2001 and would not change them. A word of warning... if you decide to lower the bike you will run into some issues with the brackett hitting the upper brace of the swing arm. I lowered mine 2 inches and had to shave the brackett to allow for suspension ride...

That is what I originally thought also, but hmfbusa told me that all you have to do is shave the mounting brackett back some so that it doesn't hit the swingarm brace. So yes you can still lower it with the high mounts.
Very nice, I am thinking of the same ones, but here is a question for you. Did you start you busa up with your exhaust off, I bet that would have been an awesome sound. Too late now ha ha. I haven't done that to mine yet, but I did to an old V-Max I had and man was it mean. Give it a shot.
