I remember reading it as the gospel that is was going to be produced in some form or other.

If there was going to be a 1400 for 06 they wouldnt be " considering" it. It would be done and have a few 100,000 kms of testing in it. I say there will be SFA for new in 06.

I agree, where do ya go from perfection?

IMHO Suzuki isnt going to do any big changes to the bike until someone else steps up and competes with it!
