Nice Work Red Falco Cant wait to see the #'s your beast layz down
TY... You and me both- I'm stoked - may boost up the plans and get'r'done on Monday if weather permits.
Took the week off work...
Airbox nitrous plate came in today!! Thanks GixxR1300 for the lighting fast ship!
Fit like a glove. I utilized a RTV High Temperature Silicone to adhere and seal it to the newly mod 'd' airbox (small) as recommended. Fan Spray direction is set towards the front of the bike as shown. I'm utilizing a 1/8 inch poly line from the solenoid to the 90 degree elbow up under the airbox. I ran the poly line through the unused vacum line that used to attach to the pair valve which was removed upon completion of the small airbox mod. This is done to prevent heat from the motor melting the poly line. (Thanks GoldenChild for that tip)
Took her out for a spin tonight and I must say, feels moe responsive in the mid rpm ranges with the airbox mod. Sounds throatier up under the tank too. Could'nt really tell any differance in the lower rpm ranges. No backfire at all so I recon the "marble mod" is not needed?
Come'on' Monday...Gotta feeling this weekend is gonna DRAG by...lol
Dyno results on next post!!
Peace out
