NOS LAYOUT

Not quite, or at least I think the bottle is not empty. The hits feel allot "weaker" but still has a powerful punch. I must say, the first hit took that wheel up quick; but it has smoothed out considerably after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th...etc... times..lol I'm thinking cause the bottle was full from the start, peaking at 950+ psi. Since then on the same bottle, the front won't come up (just feels really, really light) in that gear, I can feel it somewhat elevated in 3rd stabing the hit leaning up on the tank, but nothing as powerful as the first hit. (note to self... lean up on tank when pushing button)
I've thought about changing gearing, but I'm really liking the MPG i'm getting now and don't wanna add more electronics to the bike. i.e. speed healer. I'm really getting exhausted tearing this sucka down at the present time and just want to enjoy what I got for now.
Man 'O' man does that speedometer get burried quick, and I mean QUICK. Almost as fast, if not the same, as the tach running up through the RPMs. Its a rush no doubt. Now that I know what to expect, I may give 2nd gear a go.
But I'm really needing to settle down on the speed for a bit as I got a ticket yesterday.
264 bones...oouch.
It was a bad ordeal, but I was in the wrong. Put another thread up on the mishap as I was pretty tea'd' off at the time. But realizing the whole incident after a few brewski's', I feel quite lucky.

Look forward to watching your progress on your way up through this addiction. Keep us posted.

Ohh.... Forgot to add the results.... Forgive me... Can't get this stuff outta my system!!!!
:laugh::whistle:

About a good 2.5 hour trip down. Got 36mpg on the way there cruizing at 75 to 80mph. The way back 47.5mpg. (Speeds unknown) Jay at Stedman Motorsports REALLY knows his tune. Smooth as silk, much more responsive all the way around.
Thought 4th gear would be a good start to test her new wings. Never in my wildest dreams would I of thought nitrous could be so violent. OH my GOD!! Did'nt think you would have to climb up on the tank to keep the front end down. Lifted the front end up about a good 3 feet on the first "stab". Was very unexpected, but I brought her down smooth and easy with the biggest grin I think I've ever had. It got allot easier as I knew what to expect. Man... This stuff is addictive, can't stop thinking about it.
Wanna thank Smithabusa, GoldenChild, GixxR and the Org for making this setup happen.
Hats off to you all :beerchug:
Thank you.

Okay, here we go... Think I can break 200 or did I already?

First the motor map after she got dialed in and then the nitrous map.

First off......Congrats on being a FULL BLOWN N20 SMACK HEAD(we hold secret AA meeting here for this ya know) Great Job to you Sir!
I have one question though, looking @ the 2nd dyno info, looks like around 7200rpmz to about 9k it getz a little lean? Did your tuner say this would be ok, im assuming this is the RPM where your smashing the button because it leans out and then goes rich again after 9grand?

???
I was under the impression that it is richer versus leaner through 7.2K and 9K. Above red dashed line is not richer? Am I reading this backwards? (forgive me -first timer here with reading a dyno run) The tuner did mention that he could make it leaner through this range and get a few more ponnies out of it but would not be as "safe" on the engine like it is showing now. So I assume the answer to your question is yes, he said this is the safe route and okay.
And you are correct, the MS map (map switching) is engaged when within the 6K thru 10.8k rpm range if I'm outta 1st gear, >85% throttle and starter button is pressed. Otherwise i'm on the engine map.

Hmmm.. Got me wondering if we put the right map on my USB stick as we made a couple pulls, adjustments, etc. on the bottle. Did'nt get a paper copy. I requested the two runs (engine and nitrous) to be put on a storage key versus paper. May have only gotten the first pull that was recorded on the bottle versus the final adjusted outcome put on my shhtick.
Thanks in the dyno read clarification.

so the ms map is armed when out of first, or do you have a lockout box? i'm considering the same setup, except i'm wanting the throttle body plates instead of the airbox. but i'm porting the head first. and god willing, going 13:1 1397 as well. now time for a vid against a stock busa.

sorry not 100% sure what you want. if you want to be able to tune the ecu, activate nos with ecu, and keep it out of first gear, you would need the ecu flasher, ecu nos harness, and the lockout device.

how about for the flasher and the nos harness? i'll just have to watch my wrist until i grab a lockout device.

yep those 2 would work work fine together, if you go nos harness the led shift light can't be used so i can knock $20 off the total.

fair enough man. just gotta scrape the $$$ together. just had to put a new rear tire on, so it's gonna be a little longer than i'd like. damn bike's too fun to ride, it's been in the garage for almost 2 weeks now, and no riding. i'm in hell:moon:
