Look, I really hate to even get into these type of threads.... All in all, things will never change for the better! Face it! They have taken every bit of our hard earned paychecks, and they will not stop! Because we (well, not me, cause if I had it my way, i'd put all the politicians, lawyers, and judges in hitler's gas showers) and hire 12th grade educated kids to run the country!

No....that's not right. Just because people stopped complaining does not make Obama correct or the problem go away. The high gas prices are a major contributor to the crappie economy and affects EVERYTHING. Not to mention the price per gallon went down.

I'm certainly not enthrawled with McCain but Obama is not an option. I wish there was a 3rd candidate that was worth something.

So let me ask this? Did anyone else happen to see the Civil Forum on Fox News a few weeks ago? Obama got his arse kicked. . . They took Obama out first and asked him a set of questions while McCain was in a sound proof room, then brought McCain out and asked him the same set of questions to give a good comparison of the two candidates. Obama did exactly what he always does. . . Run all around the question with a bunch of junk that doesn't have to do with it, and keeps runnin his mouth till you (hopefully) forget what the question was, being as he never answers it. McCain, on the other hand, answered right away, straight forward, then explained his answers.
One thing Obama said was "We have to raise taxes". He gave some stupid reasons for why, where McCain reconized the fact that "it was not taxes that mattered in America in the last several years, it was spending. Spending got completely out of control." And also stated that we need to keep taxes low and increase revenue. Also said, "We should not and cannont raise taxes in tough economic times." Obama also completely left out the group of people that bring home between $150,000 and $250,000 per year. Said, less than 150 will see a slight tax cut, and the 250 and above will see a modest increase. Never mentioned the large group of people between there.
To the liberal bunch in here, let me ask you this. . . If taxes are incresed, and things inhearently become more expensive, and you keep less of your paycheck, will you buy more or less? I'm pretty sure the answer is, if things cost more and you make less, you're not going to be going and buying MORE things. You'll actually be doing the exact opposite and you'll buy less. What do you think that's going to do our already not so great economy?
