Changed up design a bit and put screen on top since ribbon cable wasn't long enough. This one actually fits everything.

This did not work out like I hoped. Even mounted the camera for fun, but at least I can confirm GPS works to 165ish and random clamps held it great at that speed. As far as refresh rate on speed this way, there is lag at slow speeds. I didn't notice so much after leaving the neighborhood, but also have to duck down to see the screen.
Angle of the LCD definitely needs to be more vertical. I don't think there's any chance on this working with the stock windscreen, been on the fence for the low profile DB and this pushed me to get one ASAP.
Wouldn't work out, but it'd be cool to just have the LCD itself in it's only little waterproof enclosure and just attach to the center of the DIC (driver info center) screen over the lean angle part, lol.

Had some other stuff printing so while waiting for it to finish, attempted to draw the base/cover with a notch so it can fit over the lip of the dash.

Due to ribbon cable, have to keep screen where it's at. I need to mirror screen and LCD as well. Unsure if it'll fit under my windscreen as is, and it's hodgepodge of pieces, but hopefully everything will fit/work/mount.

It's the beginning of 3D printed Busa parts on the org, and hopefully scanning to make them too.

I definitely agree and I think more people could get interested in it. Maybe if we can get a few more things going, they'll add a sub category. When I was putting my key in my pocket this morning, thought about something I made a year ago... No point other than when you build a custom cart, it deserves a custom key.
Something like this could be done to our key, but unsure if we have electronics in them.The nice part, even people that don't have printers possibly have friends that do or worse case send the file to a company like Shapeways to print. I've done the latter a handful of times to get stuff resin printed.
Speaking of scanners, still waiting on mine. Creality is in some lawsuit so it's held up for a bit, go figure. But it'll be a game changer if I can learn to use it effectively.

I found the obd version of this and ordered it. Lets see if it will fit with the DB windscreen. Also @InfiniteReality I did 180 miles in the rain on sunday and was watching how much water actually gets in the area and I was absolutely shocked at the amount that gets infront the factory guages. You can actually watch it bubble up while you ride.

Got my unit in, still waiting for the adaptor to arrive.
Have the double bubble clone (? I assume), and it fits.
You can see that it’s touching the screen at the top- but has plenty of room to slide back towards the rider, if a flat mounting piece was the mount of choice.
@Ked0607 - funny you mentioned that, started a combo with him yesterday about encapsulating resin/potting compound. Could seal the board to keep casual water out. Could be that it’s unplugged and dismounted for a ride in the wet.

Oh it was quite wet in that area. I mean I wasn't riding in a sprinkle either. It was straight downpour soaking rain.

That's great info Ked, something I didn't consider or recall what the water did on past bikes there. I have yet to get caught in the rain on this bike, but just a matter of time. Do you think it's due to the taller (and appear more vertical) height of the ZG DB and gravity pulling the water down the inside when stopped or putting around in traffic? Just thinking out loud.
Keeping it dry is a priority of mine, at least best I can. I'm not quite sure how to accomplish this using the buttons and plug on the circuit board already. Anyone have any suggestions?

The front is a slip-fit, with just the 2 screws holding it. Assuming any shield would leak there. Haven’t been in rain yet, can’t comment.

Doesn't actually fit under the stock windscreen, but it is close and enough that it'll hold itself in position.
I'm going to attempt a cowl for the cover. The whole thing is definitely larger than I expected/hoped, least visually once it's on the bike. I really wish the ribbon cable was longer so I could reduce the height and move the LCD where the Kanji is now.
