Ok picked up the harley today.

What's next Rev, and handlebar moustache? Chaps? The little tiny black helmet with a spike on top? Don't do it, come back, turn away from the dark side, you must be strong, fight, fight! We're counting on you. Just kidding, couldn't help it.
I rode my Uncle's Harley. Way cool. Tons of low end, and neat feel to the motor. Seems to attract a higher percentage of morally challenged women...and that's a good thing.

No worries, I look at this as a series of extended test rides. If I am not smitten by a bike by the time I done running in these bikes well then I'll prolly get a Honda ST1300 or hell maybe a Gold Wing...

But First I'll give these guys the benefit of the doubt.

OK here's a morning after shot. Looks like Lilah let the new Girl sleep in peace. I thought there may be some static between the Slender sporty Asian Hottie and the Big Large Jugged American Broad...

Guess they are ok with it...

This is right out front of my house at the end of the street, one driveway away...

A little variety is good. I used to be one of those narrow minded individuals that looked down thier nose at HD's. No more.

Like you, I was put into a position where I had no choice but to be around the Motor Company. It gave me a whole new respect for the brand. You will enjoy the Heritage. The Deuce (to me) isn't as nice....something to do with the 21" front tire. The is fun, but the stock seat sucks. Can't sit on that thing for more than a hundred miles or so.

What you need to try, is a Twincam softail that has the 95" bigbore, high compression pistons, big cams, race tuner..all that stuff. We're talkin TORQUE!

Enjoy the new position Rev. And welcome to the dark side!

Oh....Congrads on the NEW JOB.....I've been reading about it. CooL!
I'm not so lucking and get ta rid'um alot........Friends~
And I've had 2 myself and a custom.
Different Animal.....thats all you can say. Still won't trade the Busa.

I would be bored in 5 minutes on it.
Plus there is way to much chrome, windshield, Huge Parts to have to wash, then dry, and polish.
God love the people on them and keep them safe.
But also, keep them out of the way of my Busa, cause I'm coming thru.

Poor Lilah... Havin' to share space with that.

I do look forward to your take on the StreetRod. Not that I want to buy one... it's just the only Harley I don't think sucks.

Oh well, there goes your credibility...
You saying I had some credibility?

I tell ya In regards to my credibility... I give ya a He he...

I am going to be honest about these bikes. I'm not selling em', and I am not going to be changing any minds one way or another prolly.

I know your messing with me, and I am not getting all serious, but I am just saying that as one of the harshest critics of HD, and access to free ones (No Ego Involved) I should be able to give a fairly impartial evaluation...

Yeah, that's kinda how it feels... Floor Boards scrape at the slightest lean. He he he...

So far it's a fun bike in town, puttering around from light to light, it's good stuff. Out on the Interstate it's kinda rough. I mean allmost no pullfrom about 70mph, lots of buffeting off the Windscreen, and a creepy Weavy Bendy feel on the Interstate. I dunno, but it was smooth and while my legs are super happy, the seating position really places a lot of stress on the lower back. Something we don't deal with on the sport bikes.

But as cruisers go, this thing is cool... Big, loud, smooth and torquey, pretty sure that's what it's supposed to do, just not the best Interstate machine.

1.4 miles to work? Just leave it in 1st gear and flog it!
laugh.gif
Dude... I am so stoked. Work is exactly 1.4miles away, or 2 turns, 5 stoplights (FIVE!!!) and one stop sign. Takes me about 4 minutes to drive if I catch the lights. About 2 minutes if I make em... He he he...
thumbs-up.gif
I love it Filled up the car two weeks ago and we just filled it. Average daily milage went from about 50 to about 4... That's fuel savings... He he he...

As soon as I rack up 500 miles I will have a streed Rod or a V-Rod, then A Night Rod. So I have motivation to rack up miles.
