Hope all works out for you but after a year and now you are not getting a response. I would maybe take the next step and air him out. It's such a same when people take advantage of someones kindness.........

The point of this forum is to help people. TONS of ppl on here help out each other every day for no reaosn other then because they can. Red did nothing wrong, he may have been nieve but his heart was in teh right place and has no reason for another member to take advantage of him and definatly doesnt deserve to be called stupid.
Unfortunatly this is a lesson that shouldnt have to be learned. Now a good member is going to be sceptical (with good reason) on ever helping out another member. SHOULDNT BE THAT WAY!!!
Unfortunately, the generosity of the oRg is sometimes taken advantage of. Its the nature of the beast. It will not sway me from doing anything different, I will continue to help however and whenever I can. Ultimately it is your choice to help a fellow member.
No, its not necessary but maybe sleepless_red will think twice before he does something like this again. Just trying to understand why anyone would loan someone else money without never even meeting them in person.

Wow unbelievable! I know I personally have ask for help in ways OTHER than financial from the org. I just can't imagine stealing from someone on here. Baffling.

Whoever said it was actual money? Could have been hotel room, rent a trailer, anything. We don't know, and I'm sure Sleepless has met this person beforehand anyway, hell he's got a million miles on his 'busa, can't be too many people in the world he hasn't met. You haven't been around here long enough to call ANY ONE of the members on this site stupid, or pass judgement on someone YOU'VE NEVER MET..

Thanks again for all your support and yes, I've met him before. I just want to let you all know that I'm one of those people who are always willing to do what I can to help other people, not just members of the .org. That's just how I was brought up. Also I've been helped by members here before so I'm just returning the favor. Big E, Djxtrodinaire, and Blanca are part of the reason why I'd still help those who are in need. I know they will always be there for me when I need them and so as the other members on here. Too many names to mention but you know who you are.
