My little bro is either nuts, or has big huevos...

He's pullin up stakes (from Lewiston, Id) and moving to Jacksonville Fla. He's going to do the AMA Prostar series.... He'll be riding for ECSdyno in the "real street" class... no bar, stock wheelbase, 1500+cc 250 hp motor with either a 50 or 100 dryshot.

Frikkin goofball.... Hope he does good!

I probably typed that wrong...it is apparently a 250hp all motor bike....then they are adding a 50 or 100 dry shot...

Bet that is some ride..

His first race is April 4&5 in Commerce GA, Atlanta Dragway...

Got out the bike this weekend. Drove to work Sunday morning in 29 degree weather. There was fog in the valley. We didnt get one mile into it before our visors were frozen solid. I drove the next 26 miles with my visor up....talk about a tearjerker. We ran into frozen fog...ice was actually falling like snow...in Woodinville. Little slippery but not too bad. All in all....nice!!! The drive home Sunday was just wonderful. Man the bike loves the cold!!! She just purrrrrs with all of that dense air. Drove in to my massage today on it too. Now I remember what all of the fuss is about.
Here's to some good spring/summer riding this year!!!

Oh yeah....on Sunday when my buddy and I got to work, we had ice on our jackets, pants, boots, helmets, and all over the front of our bikes. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it cause we had ICYCLES hanging off of our mirrors. Cold I say.

That would have been a great picture, Smooth. I rode from Everett, up HWY 9 to HWY 530. I followed that out to a few miles east of Darrington today. The roads were mostly clear. I turned back for Everett about 3:30 PM. I had on my leathers and a rain coat to keep out the wind. It wasn't enough to keep me from mild hypothermia. If the weather cooperates tomorrow I'll take the heated gear. It's getting chilly when the sun starts going down.

Ok thats enough all of you. My head is going to explode if I have to keep reading about all the little excursions! I have a feeling I'm going to spend so much time on my bike when I get home that I'm going to be bow legged and saddle sore for awhile. Someday... someday.

Today I went on a jaunt down to Seattle to get a new ram mount for my video camera. I abused the carpol lane on the bike. I've put over 200 miles on my bike in the last two days.

Now that you've exploded I'm planning on another 100 or so miles tomorrow. Join me if you want. I'll be heading out to Whidbey Island and riding around North of Everett.

Well, I didn't get the bike out today. Something is not right with my left hip. It feels like every muscle in it is really sore. I just about took a tumble down the stairs when my left leg quit responding to my brain. Felt like I just about broke my hip. It's feeling better, but not 100% tonight. I'm not sure what happened. If it doesn't improve by tomorrow I'll have to get it looked at to see what's going on.
