Hey, did you know it was Truwrecks who talked me into buying my Bus? Remember that Doug? Thanks for helping me spend all my money!

What frisbee said!

The 08 Busa will maintain real close to 14:1 AFR no matter what you do to the exhaust and intake. The PCIII is just a waste on that bike unless you turbo it. I would suggest the Dyno breaking though. I had 26 miles on mine when I picked it up after the Dyno breakin. It will even get an oil change after the breakin. It's worth the miles and cost in my opinnion. I'll see what I can do to help with the cost of labor.

EPS is a great shop. They have a great mechanic that works on the Busa's. He's the only person that takes a wrench to my Busa aside from me.

You baby is in good hands with EPS. I've bought my last two bikes from them. They have been servicing my bikes since Oct 2004. I've been an accessory customer there for about 6 years now. I might just need to get a job there since I usually go in there two to three times a week. They take good care of me.
I've been reading that with the exhaust set-up I chose, I'd be better off getting the PCIII. The post is by GPW in the '08 section. He tested a 4-2-1 setup by TiForce and noticed an anomaly because of the bigger piping. The Yosh R-77 is good without, but I think the ECU struggles with the larger piping on the TiForce set-up is what I gathered. I'll get one anyways... it can't hurt to have one in the long run right? Plus I can get one for 225 right from DynoJet. GPW is going to e-mail the map after he dyno's and dials in an '08 running my same exhaust set-up, plus there is already a map on the DJ website. I'm considering the dyno break in too, especially since you mention an oil change afterwards. It would be nice to get my bike and not have to baby it for several hundred miles.

I also inquired about getting my rearsets powdercoated, and I found a company that will do them for free (sometimes being a soldier pays off). He said it was just a small way of showing his appreciation for us doing what we do. It's in Preston so it's going to be a small trip, but I'm more then happy because of the price, and because of his support.

Overall I think my Busa experience is going really well and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm really glad you stand behind EPS, and I'm glad that I'm able to buy from my hometown. I really look forward to getting to know everyone in the shop there, and all of you guys that I hope to ride with one day. Oh, and yes, that picture you took as a wallpaper, is in fact, my wallpaper now.

I can't argue with Greg at GPW . The guy knows his stuff. Thats hella cool about the powdercoating , some people appreciate the military !

Yeah, thats what I was thinking too. I picked up my exhaust and air filter from him. Helps support the .oRg, and him too. If he told me to roll my Busa over and spin the rear wheel ten times while singing Sweet Home Alabama because it would help with wheelspin, I'd do it! Then I'd question both of our sanities.

Did you sing the song in the key of A flat with your left foot at a 47 degree angle? If you didn't you may have just done unrepairable damage to your bike!

Tell you what Dustin,

I might be able to help you get your parts installed real cheap.  I will try to work in a Dyno breakin to show my support for the soldiers out there.

What's your MOS?  I was a 63B/63H.  I was really a 63B but I did both, so I claim both.

Glad I could help. It helped me convince the Ex that I wasn't totally crazy, or at least I wasn't the only totally crazy person out there.

That's been a while. That was before I wrecked the 04 Busa. I have another Busa now. All is right again.

I just got my garage floor resurfaced with a fresh layer of concrete. My bikes are both trapped in the garage until the concrete sets enough to not leave tracks when I roll the bikes over it.

Well the floor looks a lot better this morning. It may even be cured enough to roll the Busa over it so I can go for a ride today.

I thought about redoing my garage floor with the epoxy they sell at home depot , but its $$$ . What did you get for yours?
