I wonder if anyone has ever modified the engine on a Honda ST1300 .

Kinda cool bikes in my view but no HP . Typical of Honda's

It would take rephasing the crankshaft for starters - then cams for the firing order and who knows on the injection timing .

I just decided against building one cause would be like

Anyone here have a modified lawn mower or garden tractor engine ?

I got's one of each . Briggs and Stratton's the both of them . "L" head designs they are so the block gets ported cause the head is a single piece like a two stroke looking thing .

Synthetic only in these muscular machines

Hey . I need a Bassani pipe to fit a 1984 GPZ1100 and a set of Mikuni 33mm smooth bores .

Any of those up in the northwest ?

I would be watching a MotoGP race tommorrow but , they are not racing .

Anyone here think Suzuki can get the GSV-R shifted out of 1st gear this season ?

Colin Edwards and James Toseland need that pneumatic valve engine before the Portugal race .

Colin said the old engine will work OK at Jerez but none of this helps Toseland and i believe that guy to be for real and can run with the big boys .

Needs the better engine though to have a chance .

Did you hear the pre race commentary about Michelin giving the good tires to a select two or so riders ?

They went on and said Casey Stoner gave that as partial reason for crashing his rookie season on the LCR Honda . Crash he did a few times but don't know about if it was tires or not. Seems the front washed out on many of the Honda's in 2006 . Pedrosa . Hayden . Rossi .

None seemed immune but i dunno , was not there .

with that many washing out I would think it was the tires unless it happened at the same place on the same track . Then I would say the track has a problem.
