Passenger foot pegs

What options do we have for the gen 3. I can’t seem to find much out there.

How far off are the gen 2’s compared to the gen 3?

Puig has them. I ordered mine through Cycle Gear. I put on front and rear to match.
They have various colors and a couple of different styles

Tried two companies Cycle Gear being one of them to order but the rear peg adapter is out of stock. Went to eBay and found it

the front ones swap, the passengers are different in the mounting “nub” width

I love the black rears. Would like to buy some from someone who isn't using them, but I'm under the impression they wouldn't go on the front. Is that correct?

front and rear pegs mounting is different. fronts use a circular spring to hold them extended. the rears use a spring loaded check ball to locked them in place.

Gen3lover thanks for recommending these adaptors they worked out very well. Had my own pegs so no need to purchase anymore.

For those who have never taken the rear foot pegs off, be very careful when pulling them out from the support. Make sure as your pulling to hold and compress the metal plate.

If you fail to do this a ball bearing will be ejected since it is under tension from a small spring…have fun trying to find it.

I suggest taking a plastic bag and placing it around the mount first then remove the peg while it is inside the bag to be on the safe side. If it happens to fly out then it’s still inside the bag.

Very good point. If you lose that ball bearing your rear footpeg will flop up and down without it. I dropped mine on the garage floor and luckily it didn't fly far.

I would cut the muffler mount off of the passenger peg, and have to a couple Gen2's and an '07 Gsxr1k.
The aluminum is soft and cuts easy with a hacksaw, bandsaw, or grinder with a cutting disc.
Use a file and sandpaper to smooth it out and round the edges, then a little satin black spray paint and you'll never know that ring and rubber grommet were ever there.
You can also cut it flush just above the peg mount, but if you have a passenger their heel can turn in towards the tire(but isn't dangerous), otherwise just leave the upright stalk for their inner heel and foot to rest against.

It's a footpeg bracket, they're held on by 2 bolts and cheap used on ebay, as well as new copies.
It's not like cutting the frame.

That’s a great idea but I’ll have to (LOL) ask my wife since her foot will be there.
