PDX GSX1300R

On my last outing, I was reminded of the benefits of grip sheets on the sides of the fuel tank. I had some cut-to-fit generic units on my Honda. They didn't look great, but took some of the load off the arms when braking and turning. I may revisit this.

Heli-bars and a .75" riser/spacer make a noticeable difference too.
The Heli-bars are higher on the outside ends, as their angle is different than stock, and the whole bar itself is a little higher from an offset where they mount at the upper triple-clamp.
A .75" riser is as tall as you can combine with Heli-bars and have enough slack in electrical harnesses, brake lines, and clear the inner windshield.
Or you can use a 1.5" riser by itself and have the same clearance, you just don't get the added benefit of the bars themselves being more level, vs angled down.
Either or both combined will take some of the lean out, and some of the bend out of your neck, as well as a little of the pressure on your wrists.

A Corbin seat can really help too.
The Gen1 Corbin's shape takes some of the slant away, as the stock seat angles down to the tank(the Gen1 Corbin is much better than their Gen2's version).
The Corbin has plenty of room to move around on and not be stuck in one spot, but has a nice shape that the center curves up into the tank, allowing you to sit more level, which keeps some pressure off the wrists as well.
There is a member selling a Gen1 Corbin pair here now(who knows if he'll seperate them, but a Corbin passenger seat with a backrest is never a hard sell if you don't want it).

I second this. The helibars and spacer combo is great! I reused my spacer but have helibars that don’t work on the gen3 for sale if you are interested @LC4CARL

After my last 218 mile tank, I'm having a conversation about MPG on a FB Hayabusa page. Most guys don't both with such nonsense. But one guy says he idled his Suzuki for 100 miles and was able to eek out 55 mpg. Wow. I'm typically around 42 mpg.
I've been going off the dash and can't get over 36. 33 after a track day :(

Thx boss!
That's me with the corbins plus we're nice and close for shipping ;)

I want to save up for a new jacket. My leather one must be 20 years old.
Always nice to see a bike shop.....

Years ago I started growing my own pumpkins and normally yield around 50 or so...I generally give most of them away but it's fun growing them..

Last year I kept the smaller ones and carved them all for halloween...I had around 20 carved and scattered all over the front yard for the trick or treaters...

Super cool!

I grew up on a 10 acre "farm." We had maybe 100 apple trees. Cider was a big hit. One year dad put an acre of pumpkins in. Just a give away really. After the holiday we had left overs. But the cows could not eat them until we smashed them.

And now you know how the band got it's name...

Our cows used to smash them with their hooves....

I take my left over pumpkins to the bush for the deer....when I go back a week or so later to see what is left, it's all gone....
