PDX GSX1300R

This begs the question of whether a person would be leaving the new steed bone stock or not. Knowing this crowd, probably not. So one must factor in the farkle factor to any new bike purchase. As you point out, $1,500 for the pipe and fender treatement.

The little extra umph from a full exhaust is always nice, but on a Busa, you really can feel the weight loss flicking the bike left to right, as all 3 Gen's mufflers are heavy enough to notice when they're gone.
That alone improves the ride.

Sun came out. I told the boss that I was "having eye trouble" as I "couldn't see coming into work today..."

Checked out Glenwood, WA. Amazing view of Mt. Adams.

You and the elk both have the same expression.....LOL!

Great pictures, that's some nice country to ride in....

My boss called today:

"Carl, you have four more days of PTO to use by year end."

Me:

"Whoopie!"

Oh wait, I should have used those when rain was not forecast for the next three months...

Tha last week of November shows cloudy but no rain from the 24th-29th with temps in the very low 50s. I bought my 79 CBX from a guy in Renton. I flew up and rented a truck to haul it back because the forecast (accurately) predicted rain. Storm came up and it rained all the way home. It was snowing over the pass into California so I veered west and drove the rest of the way home on 101.

Maybe I can find some low altitude routes to enjoy. The last time I rode in snow was on an air-cooled YZ125...

I’m a genius…

The tiny town, literally in the middle of nowhere, of Christmas Valley (population 1,300), is on my to do list. They have a post office. We should have the Christmas cards done in early December.
