I've said my share against the fuzz here. My gripe is mainly with the VA state troopers, the attitude of the majority is poor and unprofessional to say the least. My venting on them here has gotten out of hand here in the past.
The town cops and deputy sheriffs here however, as a majority are good down to earth folks. Just out to make a living and help people out.
I know cops get a bad rap, I really do respect the good ones, and give them each a fair chance. So, my appoligies, and may we only meet under friendly circumstances

i have a ton of respect for the police. I do also have a ton of hate for other police. Alot of them loose sight of the oath they took and act like hitler on a power trip. As they age though and get thier rookie bs out of their system a lot of them tone down.

The funny things with law enforcement profession is the cop some times have to defend him self from the victim or the person who called them in the first place. And the officer is only doing his job, of course it may not be what the person had in mind.

Firefighters on the other hand come in, kick/chop your door down- soak all of your stuff and you shake their hands and thank them. Some times the wife will send cookies.

Just one of those double standards.

There are good teachers and not so good teachers there are good lawyers and not so good lawyers there are good people and not so good people but if you look real deep you'll find something good in everyone. These men and women are no differrent than you and I lets remember what a stressful job can do, cancer and a whole range of illness and sometimes a grumpy demeanour but when I'm sleeping it gives me peace of mind to know someone is out there making sure I have a sound and safe sleep.
