yes
tween a busa, gix1000 or zx12r, busa felt the best and would:
a) haul passenger without flinching
b) go on longer trips easier
c) heavy enough to fly smooth at high speed and cut cross winds
d) zx12 FELT heavier and KAW doesn't dominate the races
e) Godspeed fast
f) *I* love the looks of the Busa
g) couldn't find anything better covering all those bases

Mainly because of it's unique appearance...though the power and size of it was appealing as well. It was a nice combination of a bike that looked chunky, but still sporty at the same time.
The first and foremost is the PRESTIGE!!!! second would have to be comfort, my wife actually likes cruising on the back of this one. Third would have to be I got tired of trying to keep up with the 1000's now they can try and keep up with me. LOL
Anyone who says a Busa does not handle well, then they have never ridden one. This bikes does everything well. I know there are better bikes out there for twisties but this one does me just fine. I am not Matt Mladin nor do I try to be, especially on the street.

I ride a busa cuz its a suzuki, I always ride the best, and the fastest...
I had been eyeing them for years, decided it was time to make my move, I saw the 02SE in Black and it was all over.
Why was I so interested in the Busa? Power, plain and simple, not neccessarily top end/high speed power, so much as GRUNT. Torque is where it is at and I really don't like having to twist the throttle and wait while the lil 600cc or 900 something motor spins up to 11K before you get any real thrust. The Busa Pure power everywhere, all the time.
Oh, and I did I mention that the Busa in Black has got to be one of the best looking bikes on the road. Ladies love it, the Wife loves it, it intimidates smaller bikes and is just all around a bit of a badass. AND IT HAS ALL OF THAT BEAUTIFUL TORQUE!!!

Girl's bike or NOT...I bought mine for the raw power/torque just like Revlis. I like being able to roll on the throttle in ANY gear and still have the torque/accelleration.
Looks were second, allthough I do like the looks. Form follows function until someone screws up and wants to make it appealing to everyone.

Torque (much more than any liter-bike, can't argue with displacement for torque my friends).
High speed stability (also not available in a liter-bike size, thank you very much).
Awesome looks (no confusing this for a 600).
Pretty good comfort, all things considered.
An honest to god back seat (for more than just driving thong babes one block, this is for real).
Some bikes now are almost as good/quick/fast as a Busa is at some things, but no bike is as good as the Busa is at ALL things, period.

Love at first sight. Also, needed a better two-up bike, the 1000tls was really fun by myself but sucked with her on the back, seemed to change the whole geometry of the bike. The busa still handles great with both of us..
