I just left Houston from a trip. I can tell you firsthand that that's is far from the case there. They have been "released" and are now taking up public spaces as quasi tent cities. You can see the ankle bracelets they have on. Anyone hiring knows they would be an illegal.

Not saying nobody will. But if ICE decides to check up on the ankle band location ping, and see they are working, it would shut down that business.

Houston like any city has to provide them with medical care.

The reason I went to Houston?
Because they are asking me to transport the indigent patients (take a guess who that is). The percentage of IC has spiked to 35% of their patient load.

So let me break that down into laymen's terms. 35% of their patients have no $$.

A bed occupied by that 35% loses 3K per day for the hospital. Nevermind the cost of the ER care that started the admit.

They have a line of paying patients they can't intake because they have no beds. So now they have to prioritize who gets healthcare.

They have to insure care for them as long as they remain in hospital property. INCLUDING external to the building but on property (hint: they sleep on hospital grounds).

Right now if a hospital can't make enough $$ in the surgical suites, they will go bankrupt. That is happening. You can't do a surgery if you don't have a room to put them in. And if you just have a minor procedure needed, you're pretty much going to have to wait until the IC beds open up. Now the insurance companies to provide timely care for that paying patient has a problem to solve.

So they are practically begging me to get the IC off their property. And they don't care how.

So the plan I implemented was, discharge to me. Literally I pick them up at the door. And dump them off somewhere in the wild.

Hospitals don't care.

Houston, the 4th largest populated city in America, will not have a healthcare system at the rate these folks are getting dumped on them.

Houston is but one city this is happening in.

Why won't the news share this?

Surprisingly, the news is sharing that the infrastructure is being overwhelmed by the migrants. I won't deny that those cities are being affected but what is the solution?

The wall sounds good in theory but will only stop a few people from getting in. Every section can't be patrolled 24/7. You can arrest them and put them on a plane back to where they come from but how do you verify their country of origin if they have nothing. (Some will claim that they are from Mexico so they don't have to be sent to countries further south.)
If you dump them all back to Mexico, I'm sure there would be some sort of issue with the Mexican Gov't.

I've already given the only solution to this issue...the US needs to invade and take over Mexico then put a bit border wall up to its southern borders....this will also help to eliminate the cartel and their ability to traffic people and drugs...

Illegal immigration will never be stopped entirely, however, as the barriers to entry become more difficult the effort required to enter illegally will rise. At some point illegals start getting the message and weigh the risk factors of attempting the long and dangerous trip to our border.

As far as Visa's being over stayed having Border Agents at airports makes the tracking of these Visa student / vacationers a more manageable activity. Once people that plan on over staying their Visa's know their name is in the system and they have been identified with a time limit they know they have to go underground to stay here... As we go more and more a cashless society this becomes a harder thing to get away with unless they are living in a sanctuary state or city. See how these cities and states encourage law breaking by people sworn to uphold the laws of this nation? Is it sinking in yet?

How much financial assistance do we give Mexico and what do we get in return? Why doesn’t our govt insist that Mexico gets tough on their southern border? Mexico is the one facilitating this migrant stream. They could further solidify their southern border and turn them back right there saving them a much longer journey. But our govt as of right now wants them to come. They want to dilute this nation as much as possible because every single one of them coming in thru our southern border have never known the true meaning of freedom. Rights? What rights? Is their mindset. So if they get here and the govt tells them what to do they are fine with it, no questions asked.
It’s all a huge secret on who’s feeding these people, who’s giving them water, what org is actually following along with these human trains making their journies as easy as can be all things considered.

If a company needs migrant workers, get a permit for them. Pay taxes for them. Report when the work is done so they can be sent either to the next job or escorted back over the border. If employers abuse that, fine the hell out of them.

But I also want someone that is responsible for them to be held accountable if they are illegal.

We can't close our borders. That is pretty much impossible. We can't build a wall over the distance needed.

However we do have drone technology that can fly autonomously. They can report a "human figure" by IR signature, and report that sighting to a bank of border agents that can dispatch to that drone sighting.

In effect a virtual wall.

It's not perfect. But it helps a ton. There is still going to be smuggling. But if you pay anyone undocumented, you should face felony charges.

The wall can be built... its is simply the political will that is missing. Look at the wall in China... how did the get built? By a lot of slaves and mostly by hand... oh, the joy that must have been for those that built it... Now, we have cranes, dozers, excavators, drills and other construction equipment that can access almost any terrain. Just look at those power line towers going up and over mountains here in the US.

What does it cost to have an open border?
What does it cost to have China sell fentanyl to cartels that get smuggled into the USA?
How many people die or are abused as sex slaves in the extreme because the border gives easy access to the USA for the cartels?

I still think a treaty with Mexico where we send in troops to rain down Hell on the cartels would be a good start.

One day when Trump was visiting the wall a Border Patrol agent commented that the big hill or small mountain in the distance that likely had a cartel lookout station in operation right there and they can probably see us standing here right now with the optics they have in that station.

Consider how quickly one Warthog could put that lookout station out of business? If the cartel comes back and restablishes a concrete bunker there to protect itself from another bombing it is still no match for what out military can use to destroy it again. By taking out the "eyes" of the enemy it greatly reduces their ability to sneak around in the dark when they know we have surveillance working the area.

The drug trade is huge and will never be stopped...in a perfect world it could be...

The US has been in partnership with the Mexican government for years helping them fight the cartel but haven't had much success.

There is so much corruption, in the illicit trades.

As the famous Pablo Escobar once said, "You can put me out of business tomorrow. Stop using drugs!"

Yes. Or legalize them, which is a huge slippery slope.

But to ignore the fact that the influx of immigrants doesn't cost us $$ is a huge part of the problem.

Now the problem is, people won't work for less than crazy minimum values now.

So now, we have to decide what to do with 2 million potential lower wage earners trying to fill them.

My trip to Houston was sickening. The same hospitals are short staffed like crazy. Due largely in a loss of revenue.

Now they have well educated registered nurses, cleaning out bedpans and changing bedsheets.

They didn't go to school to do that!
