Thats awful man, I really thought he was going to pull through, this has been in the back of my mind since your first post. I am glad to hear that you have faith, this will help you get through this. Some of my favorite threads were of your rides.

Sorry for the loss and I hope his daughter is getting all the care she needs right now. Did they ever catch who did it?

I know its been a tough time, Kev, but keep up the faith. May Steve RIP. Condolences to all that knew him.

Although Steve’s breathing and heart stopped, he still lives on.  As the bible tells us, the payment for sin is death (separation from God), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Steve was offered that gift, as all of us are. The bible also tells us that if you will  confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and  believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Steve chose to accept this gift, therefore we can know that he is in heaven today.  I’m not getting preachy, I am just sharing this because some of you may have never heard this. I know some of you don’t believe it although you have heard it.

I do know that if you ever talked with Steve for any amount of time, you more than likely heard about at least one of the three most important things to him. (not in any special order)

1. His daughter Stephanie
2. Riding motorcycles and rides he’d like to take in the future.
3. His love for God

This is why I felt compelled to share this with you.

++++1

Kevin, I am so sorry. I was really hoping he'd pull through, but not my will be done. I never had the pleasure of meeting him but he was a fellow rider and a brother and he will be missed much by those who loved and knew him. My prayers go out for his daughter who has lost a father and to you who has lost a true friend.

I don't know what else to say....

So sorry that things had to go this way...he will be remembered in my prayers.

Sorry for the loss of a fellow motorcyclist, but it is kinda reassuring knowing he was a Christian and is hanging out with God Himself. The bible says that no eye has seen nor no mind can conceive the greatness of heaven. Sounds to me to be one heck of a happy place. I imagine it is like bringing home a brand new busa for the first time .........multiplied by a thousand. I pray that his family will also feel reassured that he is in good hands.

I don't know what to say. I was so sad to read this thread this morning. Prayers to you and to Steve's family.

My heart goes out to Steve's friends and family. I hope due justice is in the process. There are not enough good guys around for this to happen.

Tragic...just so senseless and tragic...my heart goes out to his family, his daughter...to you Kevin...

I'm just so sorry...and I wish I could attend the funeral...FL riders, please try to go if you can...

Kevin I grieve for his passing and for the sorrow felt by his & friends family.  It does give me joy however that he knew Christ and there is rejoicing in heaven for the coming home.  Wish I could be there at the ceremony for another fallen brother.  Be blessed.

Kevin,

There are no words that are adequate and "I'm sorry" somehow rings hollow. Be assured, you and Steve's family are in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed!

Sorry for this double post
