why don't we do a raffels like 1~$200.00 cupons and 2~$400.00 and then big ones $10,000.00...then you don't have to look up or ask everyone what do they like...well, just 1 for the big one, but you can make 5 each for the small ones...(anything like radar to pazzo is with in 200, helmet and rearset communications up to 400, and for 07 busa for 10,000 need little more than that, you still can manage that with 10k...) thats what I think...
cache is that you behind the mask?

I know what you should raffle off Cap! A new digital camera!! Some of these pictures are horrible! (including mine)

A good digital camera w/ high zoom and high pixel count would be great for a raffle. I know I can use one!

guessing by the statement "I can't afford to do pilots every week" .... one might think that those who suggest the marvicks and ohlins setups aren't 'reading' what's written.

Since we are left to guess...I would wonder why anything has to be "afforded"?

If you are soucing the items from people like Charles and other board sponsors..then why does anything have to be paid for prior to the raffle being offered?
You and the supplier (i.e. Charles at Streetntrack ...agree on an item...(something 'usually' in pretty good supply and common)....then offer the item up...naming the number of tickets and the price. That is based the cost of the item plus shipping..paypals fees incurred and what profit is to go towards funding the site. (when I say 'profit'...I just mean funds for maintennance...not implying that anyone is making any personal gains here).

After the tickets are all sold, the money is then paypaled again over to the supplier the night of the drawing..... seems logical, but then again..this is just my take on it.
The biggest thing I see is if the winner was not in the contiguous 48.

Windscreens (Puig!)
Levers of colors and CF ...or Pazzos..
An HID kit?
A little 'detail kit' with items like maguire's gold liquid wax and some terry cloth towels....perhaps a can of Honda polish.
Accumen digigear indicator
Indiglo kit from blueguages.com
Chain and sprockets are good...leaving the size optional.

the list of sub 200.00 items is nearly endless.

I see alot of GPS, the alarms went fast when we did that, tires fly away, the chain/sprocket set went fast. i try to buy a couple of whatever you have just to help the board out even if i'd never use them (the lowering links come to mind) I'd like to see tobin, rearsets, more of the pazzo levers, Wave rotors would go fast i think. Helm/riding gear would more fast too i think.

Things like custom paint/rims/anything high dollar would go if you made the tickets semi-cheep and just had more of them. (would take a couple of weeks to sell out, but run the fast movers like tires in between while high ticket raffle is up)

Hell you could do tires weekly and they'd sellout, WE ALL GO THROUGH THEM (i know mine go fast)

Hmm seems like everyone wants something a little bit different. How about if the sponsors are up for why not a gift certificate from them for a set dollar amount to be decide for each auction.
