and if I'm such a horrible guy... why would someone stay with me for 5 years... living together? And I never cheated on her... and I COULD have.... u don't know how I treat my significant other.... and she didn't leave me... this was mutual.... all u did with that comment was land a low blow... anything above the belt is fine... but only women pull hair and land low blows..... but ure right... ure family/friends/everyone u know and associate with are much higher class and better people... so don't read my thread if I'm a horrible person...... why are u wasting ure time reading my post jelly?

Hi. I do know if I should get into this or not. You all know I will be 70 next year so I have been through a ton of things. When I was married I was racing F5000. In 1973 I crashed In a race at Mosport. I was in the hospital I did not here from her. When I came home I found out she had left and went home. That was it she divorsed me. well after that 3 other girlfriends died.. 2 of cancer both were in there early 40 ies My last girlfriend was 45 when in our 18 wheeler was struck in the cab by a car that came off an overpass. She died right next to me. That is when I fracture my back in 8 places. I was 59 at that time. I was in a wheelchair for 18 mos. I met a nurses aid she was 39 we broke up 6 yrs later. Well to day May 28 2018 I just met a girl at a coffe shop we seemed to hit it off OK so she said that she wants to go for a bike ride on my HD. She is 40 I think she is very nice and very pretty too. So you never know what turn your life will take when you open a door or what ever.

And do not forget after we get involved with them they want us to only spend our money on them and spend all our time with them and to H with any thing we want to do or buy. And most hate RACING! But they are like buses another comes along in 15 mins.

Micheal.. u have truly lived through multiple tragedies.... and its sad.... but I think ure the type of person... u actually went to WAR.... in Vietnam... stuff like that hardens you.... I gotta imagine AFTER u get shot in combat and LIVE.... anything after that can only marginally affect you.... I have been shot at... I wont talk about it with anyone except those that were there..... but I still have nightmares about it.... I don't even wanna think about actually being hit... Tough circumstances breeds tough people and character.... u seem in such high spirits and driven all the time.... I tend to think some people are gods chosen ones..... Michael... in theory.... u should have been dead at least twice.... u ever think about that?

Hi alt 123. Yes I do. I think about it every day. I do not believe in a God, but I do believe in his way. I have seen to much uncalled for death to believe in him. I did a lot of Dust Off missions in Nam. I hope I helped save a lot of lives. I work for Meals on Wheels now. I know I have saved 2 lives so far in 3 yrs. I know I would have no problem taken one to save others or giving mine either. I was very upset when Trump called MS 13 animals. He should not have insulted the animals. the have no choice that is the way they live but people have a choice so MS 13 is worse than animals.

people nowadays have very little sense of humor.... and are not very tough... they work in offices and are busy professionals.... they rarely see what humanity becomes when reduced to its BASE LEVEL... survival.... but I'm very saddened to hear you don't believe in god.... in my view... if the animals and their cowardly and disgusting acts can make me think their isn't a god out there somewhere... then the animals have won.... I believe that good will EVENTUALLY win out over evil.. but its a long brutal fight... as u have seen... many will die unjustly... many will be victimized... the strong will survive... and hopefully the strong will protect the weak.... just as u see many many people complain about NYC and its welfare state status.... but this is humanity at its best... many abuse the system.. but the INTENT is humanity at its best....

Personally, I choose never to be the victim and life is all about the decisions you make.
I only know you through the posts I read and sometimes I joke with you, but at times you can be an angry young man. We had a very respected member here, long gone but never forgotten. Two of the things he use to say:

1. Every day is a gift.
2. You judge the size of a man, by the size of the things which upsets him.

Michael.. I KNOW when u came back from nam... u must have felt like u were FINALLY free... until the night sweats....... and u notice he will only say that he was shot... no details... my grandfather was like that...ww2 stuff.... those wars must have been pure hell... and Michael had to KEEP GOING into the Lions den... mentally exhausting stuff... the preparation is probably as bad as the combat..... that war mentally broke ALOT of people... heroin/booze finally ended their lives in a lot of cases... There are very fews guys left with stories like this... they are among the toughest people in the world.... 1400 combat flight hours.... that was his OFFICE... think about that.... how many people could mentally handle that?
