Instead of starting a new thread on this topic can someone help me with a few questions? I already have decided I want to ride with one rotor, but most say the master cylinder needs to be changed out for better performance when riding with one. If I am going to one I want the best setup.

Does anyone know the part numbers for an upgraded 1 rotor setup? Or what year and model bikes work? I want a stainless steel brake line(preferably Galfer but what size or part number?), upgraded rotor(preferably Galfer), master cylinder(which is best?), different caliper(which one?), pads?, and hopefully the block off plate that Pashnit sells will fit my '09.

Thanks for all of your help.

I dnt think it will affect your braking much. Most people who ride thier bikes use the front brakes 80-90% of the time as the primary brake but as long as you have your back brakes and good pads and some braided lines you shopuld be fine..

I know guys who have all out grudge bikes 400+hp who use only the front brake and have no back brake at all and some guys have chromed out custom rides with a rear brake and 1 front rotor.

You your best judgement but IMO, I think you'll been ok.

I guess One of the big 4 needs to run right out and put you on the payroll as lead engineer. They are really gonna be pissed when they find out that they have been waisting all this money for years an unneeded brakes..

Just because some idiot runs around on a grudge bike with run rotor doesn't mean thats all that's necessary. It just means he's not that smart.

I'm just running one front brake on my drag bike and I thought it was going to be real bad but I couldnt really tell much diff, go for it.
