The euro bikes have a tip over sensor that shuts of ignition if more than 43 degs from vertical.

Don't know about other models.

But, only way to test is it to take it off the bike and tilt it. Or low side yer bike!

Oh yes!!

I spend most evenings and moments saved for being alone (sh1ting!!) reading my manual and digesting all the useless info incase it can help someone in a rush.

Here's one for you

Do you know, off the top of your head the correct the snippet of wisdom contained in the manual for fitting a centre stand??
Or the angle at which to hold the throttle balancers to obtain a correct reading??

Answers on a postcard to....

NumbNuts@hayabusa.org!! :D

The '99 manual does not contain any info on fitment of the centerstand I believe, only an exploded view of related parts somewhere in the back. I installed it myself without manual but with the page(s) of instruction that came with the stand itself.

Don't have the balancers used in the manual but have Morgans (?) mercury sticks so have always skipped that part so far.

Sorry, no postcards available.

OK, back to work for now!

Okay
i'll put you out of your misery

1. Snipet of wisdom....grease main bolt before insertion

2. 30 degs

I'm back to work now

see you all in 7 hours!!!!

ALL Busas have a TOS. (Tip Over Switch) When activated they do work. Mine came on when it wasn't supposed to and I was stranded. The code for TOS came up in dealer's mode. I cleaned the connector that feeds the switch and it has been fine ever since. It's under the seat on the right side and info is available in the Factory Service Manual.

Yours must have been defective hangman. Might be good for a warranty claim?
