Shift delay

I can confirm that the MM flash does not fix the QS delay. I have tried in both QS modes A & B, and with all other rider aids disabled. I will be upgrading to the Woolrich this spring, the factory QS is simply horrible, I have complained to Suzuki about this and they simply dont want to hear it. It's very odd to me that some people don't experience this issue, but more seem to have it than not.

I'm not sure if @bigone5500 was referencing the power mode or the QS mode. Either way it is BS and should just work by design in any power mode or QS mode.
This is from the service manual.

The bi-directional quick shift system provides OFF, mode 1 and mode 2.
- Mode 1: The quick shift is available. The gearshift lever stroke required for the shift change is set larger and the
gearshift lever operation is set heavier than those of mode 2.
- Mode 2: The quick shift is available. The gearshift lever stroke required for the shift change is set smaller and the
gearshift lever operation is set lighter than those of mode 1.

I previously stated mode B but was incorrect. It is mode 2.

I only know that if I had purchased a brand new Gen 3 and it had these issues including the shifting issue, I'd be cranky........cranky enough to probably get rid of it....the big issue with getting rid of it is Hayabusas are generally a hard bike to sell.

If these problems cropped up soon enough, I'd be enacting the "Lemon Law"

My fuel pump shitting itself was the last straw for me on top of the wheel bearing failure within 1000kms, battery, front left indicator shorting out and the tail light assembly melting the plug.

Decade of building poop that wasn’t going to work anyway, waste of R&D money.
What's crazy is this isn't the first bike Suzuki has made with technology....they used the same tech on the GSXR with good results...

It's almost as if they aren't talking to each other.

That was a Gen3?
Sure is.

At least you guys didn't get a Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 with a leaky oil pan straight out of the crate, or a BMW M 1000 RR with cooling issues and an ECU sending ominous messages to the display...also straight out of the crate. Mani from Motomillion won that bike lottery.

I'll take the laggy QS and defective front brake MC. :p
